List of Recommended Books for UGC NET Paper II (Students’ Choice)
University Grants Commission (UGC) has introduced some major changes in the exam pattern to be effective from 2018. The changes include the elimination of Paper III. Earlier the exam consisted of three papers – Paper I, Paper-II and Paper-III. The 2020 exam is scheduled to be held from 15th to 20th June 2020.

However, the candidates must note that there is no change in the syllabus. As per the official notification; Paper II will include the entire syllabi of earlier Paper II and III including all electives.

UGC NET 2018: Books for Paper-II

Now, in Part 2 of the article, we are covering the list of recommended books for Paper-II. This is a subject-specific paper and each student can opt for one subject. This subject is generally the subject of his/her Master’s degree.
