The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the JENPAS UG common entrance test for admission to UG courses in Nursing, Paramedical, and Allied Sciences offered by different institutes in West Bengal. Initially known as JENPARH, the exam was renamed JENPAUH and again in the year 2020, the board renamed the exam WBJEE JENPAS-UG (Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical & Allied Sciences - Undergraduate Courses). WBJEE JENPAS-UG 2023 Pattern & Syllabus
WBJEE JENPAUH 2023 Exam Pattern
The test will comprise two papers as under:
- Physics and Chemistry
- Biological Sciences
Both papers will have Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The questions will be in English and Bengali languages. The distribution of marks and questions is as under:

The exam will be OMR-based, and candidates must mark their answers by darkening the circles with a blue/ black ballpoint pen. Candidates must mark the answers carefully, as there will be no option to erase or modify the markings. There will be a negative marking of ½ mark for an incorrect response.
WBJEE JENPAS-UG 2023 Syllabus
The question papers will be based on the syllabi of the 11th and 12th standards of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education and other equivalent boards. Thus, for the WBJEEB JENPARH 2023 syllabus, students must refer to their class's 11th and 12th syllabi.

The candidate must have passed class 12th or appeared in the class 12th exam under the 10+2 system.

Steps to Apply for WBJEE JENPAS-UG Exam
The JENPAS-UG 2023 application form can be submitted in the following stages:

Registration
- Visit the official website wbjeeb.in/jenpas-ug and click on the link for JENPAS-UG 2023 application form.
- Enter details such as the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, address, mobile number, email ID, etc.
- Create a password and submit the details.
- An application number will be generated and sent to your Email ID/ Mobile number.
- The application number and created password are your login credentials.
Application
- After successful registration, candidates must complete the application process by providing details such as domicile, category, religion, nationality, educational qualification, etc.
- Candidates can choose any three zones of examination as per their preference and submit the application.
Uploading Images
- Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned above.
Application Fee Payment
- After the successful upload of scanned images, candidates need to pay the application fee. The fee can be paid using a Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. The fee, once paid, is not refundable.
Printing Confirmation Page
- On successful fee payment, a confirmation page will appear on the screen. This means the application process is complete. Candidates must take a print of the confirmation page and keep it safe till the admission process gets over.
Important: Please note that the non-generation of the confirmation page means the application process is incomplete.

WBJEE JENPAUH 2023 Admit Card
The WBJEE JENPARH-UG admit card will be generated and uploaded on the official website. The exact date for the release of the admit card is between the 2nd to 11th of June 2023. Candidates can download the admit card using their login details. It is a mandatory document for appearing in the exam. Candidates are advised to keep the admit card safe and clean. Any soiled or distorted admit card will not be considered for making entry to the examination hall. Keep the admit card safe till the admission process gets over.
WBJEE JENPAS-UG 2023 Result
The WBJEEB JENPAS-UG 2023 result will release in the form of a rank card/ scorecard. The rank card will contain the candidate’s rank and total score. It can be downloaded using the login details. The board will not publish any rank/ score list. The rank card will be issued to all the candidates who will appear in the entrance examination. However, all scorecards may not contain rank. Such candidates will not be qualified for the counselling process.
WBJEE JENPARH 2023 Counselling
After the publication of the result, a separate notification is released for the counselling process on the official website. Institute-wise and course-wise, seat availability is also provided before the counselling process begins. Qualified candidates are required to appear for the counselling process as per the schedule.
