UPESEAT 2022 - Application(Extended), B.Tech Admission, Eligibility, Exam Pattern, Admit Card & Result
University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) conducts the Engineering Aptitude Test (EAT) for admission in the B.Tech programs offered by the institute. Candidates interested in the course are required to submit their completed applications well in time. However, before filling out the application form, candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the course. Apart from UPESEAT, admission to B.Tech. courses in UPES is also conducted through JEE Main score and centralized counselling after class 12th. 80% of the seats are allotted through UPESEAT and the remaining 20% through JEE Main score or class 12th merit.

UPESEAT 2022 Exam Latest Update
- The application process for the UPESEAT 2022 exam has been extended till 31st July 2022 (Phase-III). The last date for registration was 30th June 2022 for phase II. The last date for registration was 29th March 2022 for phase I.
- The exam will be held between 2nd and 4th August 2022 for Phase III.
- The result for Phase I was declared on 6th April 2022.

UPESEAT 2022 Exam Syllabus
Questions in the UPES exam are asked as per the syllabus of class 11th and 12th. The UPESEAT syllabus 2022 will be similar to the CBSE syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. So, candidates can study from their course books. For the English section, candidates must practice reading comprehension, improve vocabulary and grammar. In the Current Affairs section, questions will be asked about general knowledge and current events.
UPESEAT Exam 2022 Eligibility
Candidates who are interested in taking admission to UPES must check the eligibility conditions carefully before filling out the application form. If any candidate is found to not have met any of the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature will be canceled at any stage of the admission process.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for admission in UPES B.Tech. course is 22 years i.e. the candidate should be born on or after 1st October 2000.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed class 10th and 12th with a minimum of 50% marks.
In class 12th, candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

Registration
- Visit the official website - https://www.upes.ac.in.
- Click on the ‘Apply’ button at the top right corner of the page.
- Enter your details such as name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, nationality, course, city, and state.
- Submit the details.
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP in the space provided and move to the next step.
Academic Qualification
- Enter the details of your class 12th and class 10th examination such as the board of passing, year of passing, CGPA, etc.
Fee Payment
- Select the mode of payment and follow the steps to pay the application fee. The application form can be paid via Debit card/ Credit card/ Internet banking/ Paytm.

UPESEAT Exam 2022 Other Details
UPESEAT 2022 Admit Card
UPESEAT 2022 hall ticket will be released by the exam conducting authority on the official website. Candidates can download the admit card only after completing the slot booking process. UPES will intimate the candidates for slot booking via email around two months before the exam. Candidates are required to book slots for the examination by selecting the exam center, time, and date. After the slot is booked successfully, candidates can download the admit card. The admit card contains details such as exam timing, date, venue, instructions, etc.
UPESEAT 2022 Answer Key
The UPESEAT 2022 exam answer key will not be released by the exam conducting authority. The other institutes might release the answer key. If the answer key for the 2022 exam will be released by the exam conducting authority, it will be made available on the official website.
UPESEAT 2022 Exam Result
The UPESEAT 2022 result will be declared on the official website. The result will be made available online. Candidates can log in using their user ID and password to download the result. The result will comprise section-wise marks, aggregate marks, overall rank, and category-wise rank of the candidate.
UPESEAT 2022 Exam Counselling
Candidates who will qualify for the UPESEAT 2022 exam will be called for the counselling process. The registration process for the counselling will be online while the counselling will be conducted offline. Candidates are required to participate in the counselling process for seat allotment. Carry all the required documents for the document verification process. After the successful document verification, the seat will be allotted to the candidate. Candidates must accept the allotted seats by paying the requisite admission fee. Seats will be allotted as per the candidate’s rank and preference. The counselling will be held in Dehradun only.
