The selection process for the UP Police recruitment comprises:

1. Online Test
2. Physical Test
3. Medical Test

Online Exam Pattern

The online test will have questions from the following four sections as under:

Qualifying Marks - Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 35% marks in each subject and 50% in total.

Those who pass the online test are required to appear for the Physical Test where candidates will be tested on various parameters mentioned in the ‘Eligibility’ section of the article. A merit list will be prepared after the Physical Test and shortlisted candidates have to go through the Medical Test before final allotment at the respective posts.

UP Police Bharti Exam 2022 Eligibility

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification

Assistant Operator

• Applicants must have passed the intermediate (12th) examination from a government recognised school or board with the Mathematics and Physics subject.
• Age Limit: 18 years and above 22 years as of 01 July 2022.

Head Operator

• Applications must have passed the three years diploma course in Electronic / Telecommunication / Electrical / Computer Science / Informational Technology / Instrumentation Technology / Mechanical Engineering from a recognised school or board.
• Age Limit: above 20 years and below 28 years as of 01 July 2022.

Workshop Worker

• Applicants must have passed the matric (10th) examination from a recognised board and they must have gotten a certificate from government recognised ITI in trade of Electronic / Telecommunication / Electrical / Computer Science / Information Technology / Radio & Television / Electric Supply & Manufacturing / Refrigeration / Mechanic Instrument / Machine Electronic / Computer Operator / Programming Assistant.
• Age Limit: above 20 years and below 28 years as of 01 July 2022.

SI Civil Police and Platoon Commander Posts

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised institute.
• The minimum age limit for recruitment is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years as on 1st July 2022. In other words, candidates must not be born before 1st July 1994 and after 1st July 2001.

Fire Service Second Officer Post

• Bachelor’s degree (Science) from a recognised institute.
• The minimum age limit for recruitment is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years as on 1st July 2022. In other words, candidates must not be born before 1st July 1994 and after 1st July 2001.

Note: Those appearing or appeared in the final examination are not eligible for the recruitment. Candidates need to have the mark sheet and passing certificate of the qualifying exam till the last date of application submission.

Age Limit

• Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to reserved category candidates as per the government rules.

Physical Eligibility

The minimum weight requirement for the female candidates is 40 kgs.

The application process for the UP Police Bharti 2022 has started from 20th January 2022 for Assistant Operator, Principal Operator, Workshop Staff. Candidates will be submitting their applications online only through the official website. It is advised to keep the scanned images of the following documents ready before filling out the application form:

• Recent colored passport-size photograph (JPG/JPEG format in size 11 to 30 KB)
