The admission for UP ITIs is done through merit. No entrance exam is conducted for the same. Thus, there is no information for exam pattern and syllabus.

UP ITI Admission 2022 Eligibility

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for their respective courses before applying for UP ITI admission. Here are the details for the eligibility conditions:

Age Limit (as on 1st August 2022)

- The minimum age limit is 14 years i.e., the candidate must not be born after 31st July 2008.

- No upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed their class 8th or high school level examination from a recognized board. Those appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply. Check out the trade-specific requirements in the official notification.

UP ITI Admission 2022 Application Process

UP ITI admission application process is online. It started on 7th July 2022 and will continue till 4th August 2022. Candidates are advised to submit their applications well before time. Here is the step-by-step procedure for filling out the application form.

Steps for Filling the UP ITI Application Form

• Visit the official website at http://www.scvtup.in/en.
• Click on the link for online application submission 2022-23 under the ‘Latest Notification’ section.
• Click on the link for online application submission.
• Read the important instructions and click the ‘OK’ button.
• The application form will appear on the screen. Fill in the details such as applicant’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, category, mobile number, and click the ‘Send OTP’ button.
• An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the OTP in the space provided on the screen to verify your mobile number. Click the ‘Verify & Proceed’ button.
• Select from the option provided on the screen for the type of ITIs.
• The remaining application form will appear on the screen. Complete it by providing personal information, address, and educational qualification details.
• Upload the scanned images of the candidate’s photograph and signature. The scanned images must be in .jpg/ .jpeg format and must not be more than 50KB in size.
• After this, you will be redirected to the choice filling section, where you are required to choose the trade, category, and ITI.
• Preview all the details entered till now and proceed to the fee payment section. Choose the option for fee payment and proceed with the payment process.
• After successful fee payment, the link for taking the printout of the application form will appear on the screen.
• You can take a printout immediately or later by logging in again.

UP ITI Admission 2022 Merit List

The UP ITI merit list is prepared by the admission conducting authority based on the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam. The merit list is released online at the official website. Only those candidates who make it to the merit list will be allowed to participate in the counselling process.

UP ITI Admission 2022 Counselling

• The UP ITI counselling process is the final stage of the admission process, where seats are allocated to the candidates based on their merit and options filled.
• The counselling process is conducted in multiple rounds.
• Candidates will also have the option of ‘Float’ if they are unsatisfied with the allotted seats.
• If candidates are satisfied with the allotted seats, they can ‘Freeze’ the option.
• Candidates will be notified about seat allocation through SMS on their registered number.
• Candidates will be given a timeline to fill the admission fee and confirm the admission.
