TS POLYCET Exam 2023 Pattern & Syllabus

TS POLYCET is a pen and paper-based examination of two hours duration. The exam comprises 120 multiple choice questions asked in two languages – English and Telugu. 1 mark is awarded for every correct answer and no mark is deducted for incorrect answers. Questions are asked from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as per the syllabus of the SSC board. Here is the section-wise distribution of questions:

The minimum qualifying marks for the exam are 36 out of 120.

Who Can Apply?

It is always advised to check the eligibility conditions before applying for any examination. Please refer to the official notification of TS POLYCET to check if you meet the eligibility conditions laid by the exam conducting body. We have listed some important eligibility conditions:

Nationality

• Should be an Indian national.
• Should have domicile in the State of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.

Age Limit

• There is no age limit for admission into Diploma Courses in Polytechnic colleges.

Education Qualification

• Should have passed the S.S.C. Examination of State Board of Secondary Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh, or any other equivalent examination from a board recognized by the State Board of Secondary Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh. Such boards are CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), ICSE (Indian Council for Secondary Education), TOSS (Telangana Open School Society), NIOS (National Institute of Open School), APOSS (A.P. Open School Society), Class X examinations conducted by various State Boards in India.
• Candidates from boards other than the State Board of Secondary Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh, should have passed all subjects (including Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics) with a minimum of 35% marks.

TS POLYCET Exam 2023 Application Process

The online application process for the TS POLYCET exam will start on 16th January 2023. The last date for registrations will be in February 2023. Candidates must fill out the application form only through the official website. Here are the steps for filling out the application form.

Candidates have to register for the exam online through the official website.

• Register for the exam and fill out the online application form.
• Take a printout of the filled-in application form and affix a recent passport-size photograph (do not staple or sign the photograph).
• Take the signature of your Parent/Guardian on the form and submit it to the nearest TS online Payment gateway/ Net Banking/ Coordinating cum Helpline center. Make a payment of the application fee along with the form. The fee can be paid both offline and online.

The application has to be paid as per the category of the candidate. Details are as under:

General and OBC – ₹ 400/-

SC/ST candidate – ₹ 250/-

TS POLYCET 2023 Exam Result

TS POLYCET results will be available only at polycetts.nic.in. The results of TS POLYCET 2023 will be announced in June/July 2023.  The rank card is issued after a week from the date of the result declaration. Candidates can check the result on the official website using the registration ID and password.

TS POLYCET 2023 Counselling

TS POLYCET counselling is an online process that is to be attended by qualified candidates. The counselling process will start in June/July 2023. Seat allotment is done on the basis of the merit list. After online seat allotment, candidates must attend counselling at the allotted institute to confirm their admission.
