TS LAWCET Exam Pattern
The exam will be conducted online for a duration of 90 minutes. 120 multiple-choice questions will be asked from the following sections:

Note: There will be no negative marking in the exam. The medium of the question paper will be English, Telugu, and Urdu.
Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test Syllabus
The syllabus prescribed by the exam conducting authority states;
“For 5-year Law Course, the standard expected is of Intermediate level/10+2, and for 3-year Law Course, the standard expected is of Degree Level.”
Part C, Aptitude for Study of Law, will have questions on the Basic Principles of Law and the Constitution of India.
Based on the previous years’ exams, the syllabus is as under:
General Knowledge and Mental Ability: History, Geography, Environment, Polity, General Science, Indian Heritage and Culture, Puzzles, Syllogism, Blood Relation, Analogies, Completing Arguments, Logical Sequences.
Current Affairs: Current events (national and international), Appointments and Rewards, Sports, and New Legal Developments.
Aptitude for Study of Law: Constitutional Law, Legal Awareness, Indian Constitution, Indian Polity- Judiciary, Executive, and Legislature, important amendments, and acts.
TS LAWCET 2023 Eligibility
Age Limit
There is no age restriction for admission into LLB courses.
Educational Qualification
For 3 Year LLB Course
Candidates should have passed the graduation exam (any discipline) under the 10+2+3 pattern from a recognized University with a minimum of 45% marks (General), 40% (SC/ ST).
Any other examination which is equivalent to graduation will also be accepted as a qualifying exam.
Note: “The candidates who have passed Degree examination by single sitting without undergoing three years course either through regular or private or correspondence and those who obtained the degree through open University directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible.”
For 5 Year LLB Course
Candidates should have passed a two-year intermediate course (10+2) pattern with at least 45% aggregate marks for general and 40% for SC/ ST.
TS LAWCET 2023 Application Process
Candidates are required to submit the application form online. Candidates must submit only one application form. Multiple application forms will not be accepted. It is advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the exam.

Application Fee Payment
- Visit the official website lawcet.tsche.ac.in
- Click on the ‘Step 1: Application Fee Payment’ option.
- Enter the details such as name, DoB, Mobile Number, Email-ID, course, qualifying exam, category, payment type, etc.
- Click the ‘Proceed to Payment’ button.
- Complete the application fee payment process.
Application Form Filling
- After successful fee payment, click on the ‘Step 2: Fill Application Form’ link on the home page.
- Enter the payment reference ID, qualifying examination hall ticket number, mobile number, and DoB.
- Click on the ‘Proceed to Fill Application’ button.
- Complete the application form by providing details on your education qualification, choosing the exam center, and uploading the photograph and signature.

- After completing the application form, click on the ‘Step 3: Download Application Form’ link on the home page.
- Enter payment reference Id, mobile number, and date of birth.
- Click on the ‘Get Application Details’ button.
- Download the confirmation page for future reference.

TS LAWCET 2023 Admit Card/ Hall Tickets
TS LAWCET 2023 hall tickets will be made available on the official website in July 2023. Candidates can download their admit cards using their login credentials. The admit card contains details about the exam date, timing, venue, exam day instructions, etc. No candidate will be allowed to sit for the exam without the admit card.

TS LAWCET 2023 Merit List/ Rank
Those who clear the TS LAWCET 2023 will be ranked based on their marks obtained in the exam. If two or more candidates secure the same marks, the relative rank will be decided after applying the following tie-breaking conditions:
- “By considering the marks secured in Part-C of TS LAWCET and if the tie still persists, marks obtained in Part-B in TS LAWCET shall be taken into consideration.
- If the tie still persists, they may be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking, and seniority in age may be considered at the time of admission.”
TS LAWCET 2023 Counselling
Those who have passed the TS LAWCET exam will be eligible to appear for the counselling process as per their merit rank. The counselling process will be conducted in multiple rounds, including activities such as document verification, web-choice filling, fee payment, and seat allocation. Candidates are required to report at the allotted college to complete the admission formalities.
