Tripura JEE 2023 Exam Pattern

The TJEE 2023 exam is conducted through offline (OMR-based) mode. The exam comprises Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). 30 questions carrying 4 marks each will be asked in each paper as per the group selected by the candidates.

Candidates willing to appear for the Tripura JEE 2023 are required to choose a group from the following:

Negative Marking - There is a 1/4th negative marking for each wrong answer in the exam.

TJEE Exam 2023 Eligibility

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the TJEE 2023 exam. Check out the detailed eligibility criteria in the official notification.

Citizenship - Candidates must be Indian nationals and permanent residents of Tripura. The candidate or his/her parents must be residing in Tripura for at least 10 continuous years.

The following candidates are also eligible for the exam:

• Children of central or state government employees.
• Children of state government employees who are posted outside Tripura.
• Children of All India Services Officers born in Manipur - Tripura.

Education Qualification - Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination.

TJEE Exam 2023 Application Process

The application process for the TJEE 2023 exam started on 2nd February 2023 and continue till 18th February 2023. Candidates must fill out the application form till the last date of submission. Here are the steps to apply for the TJEE 2023 exam.

Steps to apply for the Tripura JEE 2023 Exam -

Registration

• Visit the official website - http://tbjee.nic.in and click on the link for TJEE 2023 application.
• Enter a valid email ID and mobile number to complete the registration.
• After successful registration, log in.
• On login, you will receive a user reference ID. Keep it safe. It is necessary for all future communications.

Complete the Profile

Complete the profile by uploading the scanned images of your photograph, signature, BPL certificate (if applicable), and caste certificate (if applicable). The scanned images must meet the prescribed specifications.

Complete the Application Form -

After completing the profile, complete the application form by providing details related to qualification, residence, group choice, exam center choice, etc.

Verify all the details carefully and finalize the application form. Please note that no changes will be allowed in the application form details after finalizing the form.

Make fee payment

After the final submission, candidates are required to make the application fee payment. The fee can be paid using a Debit/ Credit card or internet banking. The application fee details are as under:

Additional processing charges and GST are to be paid by the candidate.

Print Acknowledgment

Once the fee payment is successful and the fee status appears online, take a print of the application acknowledgment. Keep it safe for the record.

Do not send any document or hard copy of the application fee to the exam conducting authorities.

TJEE 2023 Admit Card

The TJEE 2023 admit card will release online on the official website in April 2023. Candidates can download their admit cards using the user ID and password created at the time of registration. The last date for downloading the admit card will be the exam date. The date and timing of the exam and the address of the examination venue are mentioned on the admit card. Admit card is a mandatory document for appearing in the examination.

• Candidates must carry the TJEE hall ticket at the examination center on exam day.

Important Instructions related to TJEE 2023 Admit Card

• Put a passport-size photograph on the admit card.
• Candidates are required to sign across the photograph using an ink pen.
• Please provide the signature in the space provided.
• The registration number on the admit card will be filled in by the exam conducting authority.
• Each one needs to carry TJEE admit card to the examination center as it is required during exam time.

TJEE 2023 Answer Key

The answer key for the TJEE 2023 exam will be uploaded online in June 2023 at the official website. The provisional answer key was released after the completion of the exam. The final answer key was released after considering candidates’ challenges against the provisional answer key.

TJEE 2023 Result, Scorecard & Merit List

The TJEE 2023 result will release in July 2023 on the official website. Candidates must enter their roll number and date of birth to check their results. The result is released in the form of scorecards and a merit list.

TJEE Counselling 2023

The TJEE 2023 counselling process will start in August 2023 on the official website. The counselling process is conducted offline. Only those candidates who have qualified for the written examination are eligible to participate in the counselling process. Candidates must report at the counselling venue along with all the required documents.
