The SSC (Staff Selection Commission) is a recruitment agency under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. The commission conducts SSC SI CAPF every year to recruit candidates in the Police force. The SSC SI CAPF 2022 notification will be released tentatively in June 2022. The candidates are selected through the CBE, PET, PST, and Medical Test. SSC SI CAPF Exam 2022 Pattern & Syllabus

Candidates should clear all 4 stages of the SSC SI CAPF 2022 Exam for their selection. The 4 stages are - Written test, Physical test, Personality Interview and Medical test. The candidates should cross the bar set by the commission for various stages of the exam.

Stage-1 Written Exam

The written exam consists of Paper-1 and Paper-2. The candidate is required to qualify the Paper-1 first, only then they can attempt Paper 2.  Before attempting Paper 2 the candidates should appear in the PET/PST exam.

Stage-2 PET/PST Exam

The candidates who qualify the Paper -1, progress to the next stage of the exam, i.e. the Physical Endurance Test (Physical Endurance Test)/PST or the Medical test. Thereafter, they should also write the Paper-2 of the written exam.

Note - The evaluation of the Paper-2 of the written exam is done only for those candidates who qualify the PET/PST and the Medical test.

Stage-3 Personality Test

The successful candidates in Paper-2 are called for the Personality Test. The Personality test carries100 marks. Its marks are added to the candidate’s final score in the exam. The final score is the aggregate marks scored by the candidate in the Paper-1, Paper-2, and the Personality test.  

Stage-4 Medical Exam

Candidates who qualify the PET exam are required to appear in the CAPF Medical officer for Medical examination.

The final merit list of the successful candidates is prepared on the basis of their score in the Paper-1, Paper-2 and the personality test of the candidate.

SSC SI CAPF Exam 2022 Eligibility

Nationality 

  • The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
  • The candidate from Bhutan, Nepal, Tibetan refugees (migrated to India before 1st January 1962) and People of Indian Origin are also eligible to appear for the exam, provided, they are issued a certificate in their favor by the Government of India for their citizenship.

Age Limit

  • The candidate should be 20-25 years of age. However, there is a provision for age relaxation in the upper age limit.

Educational Qualifications

  • A candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any recognized University.
  • It should be noted that the candidates who are applying for the Delhi Police force should have a valid Driving license issued for the LMV (Licensed Motor Vehicle or Car).

The application process for the SSC SI CAPF exam 2022 will tentatively start in June 2022. The applications will be accepted through the online mode via the official website of SSC.

  • Complete the registration process.
  • Log in again to complete the application form.
  • Fill in all the details correctly, upload the required documents, and make application fee payments.

Application Fee

  • Candidates should pay the requisite application fee as per their respective categories.
  • General Candidate should pay- ₹ 100
  • Reserved category candidates, OBC, SC/ST and Female candidates are exempted from paying any fee.
  • The Application fee can be paid online through the Net-Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card. Cash can also be deposited in any bank branch of SBI through Bank Challan

SSC SI CAPF Admit Card

SSC CPO 2022 admit card for Paper 1 will be released on the official website. To download SSC CPO admit card, candidates need to enter registration number/roll number/name and date of birth. The admit card is an important document without which candidates will not be given entry to the exam center.

The commission set the minimum qualifying criteria for every stage of the exam. The commission sets different qualifying criteria for the female and the reserved category candidates. The candidate should check for the cut-off marks as per their category.

SSC SI CAPF Exam Frequently Asked Questions

This exam has 4 stages - In the first stage of the exam, the candidate is required to write the Paper-1. Those candidates who qualify in the 1st paper are then called for the Physical endurance test and also to take up the Paper-2 of the exam. Again those candidates who qualify in the PET, their Paper-2 is evaluated. Then the scores of the Paper-1 and the Paper-2 are added. The candidates are then called for the Personal round of an interview. The candidates qualifying in the Personality round of the exam, then their marks of the Paper-1 and Paper-2 and the Interview tests are added to prepare the final merit list of successful candidates.

There are two papers in this exam. The candidates are required to first qualify in the Paper-1 of the exam only then they are given Paper-2 to write.

The candidate should pay their Application fee online through the net banking, Credit card or Debit card. They can also pay through the cash mode by the Bank challan from the SBI branch.

The General candidates are required to pay the application fee of Rs 100 along with the Application form. The reserved category candidates are exempted from paying any application fee. They should not pay any application fee for the exam.

The Application form will be available on the official website of the commission. Candidates who are wishing to apply for the exam should visit the official website of the commission and download the application form to apply. It is important that they should apply for the exam before the closing date of the application form. This might lead to the rejection of their application by the commission.

The candidate should be between the age group of 20-25 years of age.

Candidates applying for the exam should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognised university.

The participating organisations for the SSC SI CAPF 2020 Exam are as follows -

Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Delhi Police.

The exam will be held for posts of Sub-Inspector in CAPF and Delhi Police.

The SSC SI 2020 exam will be held for 1564 vacancies. The category-wise details are provided in the official notification.

The exam for the Paper-1 will be held from 23rd to 26th November 2020.
