SLAT 2022 Important Dates

Important dates for various exam events are as under:

SLAT Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted through CBT mode and questions will be asked from the following sections. The Written Ability Test (WAT) will be held after the MCQ test.

Note: There will be no negative marking in the exam.

SLAT 2022 Syllabus

Logical Reasoning - Blood Relation, Directions, Series, Critical Reasoning, Analogy, Syllogism.

Legal Reasoning - Legal Terms, Contracts and Constitutional Laws, Indian Constitution - structure, sections and schedules, Torts, Law of Crimes, International Law, Legal Awareness, Intellectual Property Rights.

Analytical Reasoning - Logical/ Mathematical Analysis, Algebra, Deductive Reasoning, Profit and Loss, Percentage, Analogy, Time, Distance, and Work, Agreement and Disagreement.

Reading Comprehension - Questions will be asked from reading comprehension.

General Knowledge - International Events, Current Affairs, Major developments in Geopolitics, Sports, and Environmental Agreements, Eminent Personalities, Awards and Honours, UN Bodies.

SLAT 2022 Eligibility

SLAT 2022 Application Process

SLAT 2022 application is open from 5th January 2022 and will remain active till 8th June 2022. The application forms will be accepted only through the online mode. Candidates must check their eligibility and submit the application well before time.

Steps to Fill SLAT 2022 Application Form

• Visit the official website at www.set-test.org.
• Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
• Click on the ‘Register’ button.
• Read the instructions and click the ‘I Agree’ button.
• Enter the details asked for such as the applicant’s name, gender, DoB, category, address, educational details, test city preference, etc.
• Upload your current passport size photograph. The photograph must be in .png, .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif format. The size of the photograph must be between 10 KB to 500 KB.
• Save & Continue.
• Once the registration is complete.
• Login to complete the remaining application form.
• Complete the details and make the fee payment.
• After the successful fee payment, the application process is complete.

SLAT Exam Application Fee

Candidates can make the application fee payment through Billdesk Payment Gateway, Indian Bank Payment Gateway, or Demand Draft. The application fee for SLAT 2022 is:

In addition to the application fee, candidates are also required to pay ₹ 1000/- per program as a program registration fee.

Both application fees and program registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Fee Payment Through Demand Draft

• Make a Demand Draft (DD) from any nationalized bank in favor of ‘Symbiosis Test Secretariat’ payable at Pune.
• Take a print of the DD payment advice form while filling out the application form by selecting ‘DD Payment’ as a mode of fee payment.
• Fill the DD details in the form, sign it, and sent it along with the DD to Symbiosis Test Secretariat at the following address:

SLAT 2022 Other Details

Institutes Accepting SLAT Score

SLAT Exam Centres

SLAT 2022 will be conducted in 83 cities across the country. Candidates can choose three test cities preference while filling the application form.

NOTE: No change in the examination city will be entertained after the submission of the application form.

As per the official website; “While all efforts will be made to ensure that the candidate gets a test city as per his/her preferences, however, in some exceptional circumstances, a different test city in a nearby area may be allotted.”

“Symbiosis Test Secretariat reserves the right to change or allot a city other than the one requested by the candidate in the event of the requested city not being available for any reason.”

The name of the allotted test centre and its address will be printed on the admit card.

SLAT 2022 Admit Card

The SLAT 2022 admit card will be released on the official website on 15th June 2022. Candidates are required to download the admit card using their login credentials. Paste your recent passport size colour photograph on the admit card. Candidates are required to carry the admit card along with a photo ID proof to the test centre. Any one of the photo ID proof will be accepted:

• Driving License
• Passport
• Voter ID Card
• Aadhar Card
• PAN Card

Please keep the admit card safe till the admission process is complete.

SLAT 2022 Result

SLAT 2022 results will be released a few days after the exam. The result will be declared in online mode in the form of a scorecard. SLAT scorecards will have details of marks obtained, ranking, qualifying status, etc. No answer key will be released for SLAT. Candidates can download the SLAT 2022 result from the official website using their login ID.

SLAT 2022 PI Round

Those who are shortlisted through the test are called for the Personal Interview round. The PI round is conducted separately by the participating institutions. Thus, a candidate can appear for the PI round of a particular institute only if he has registered for the same at the time of form filling. The interview will be conducted through offline mode at the respective campuses of the law schools. The PI round carries 30% weightage in final merit preparation. Candidates are required to carry the following documents for the SLAT PI round:

• Class 12th mark sheet
• Passing certificate
• Photo ID Proof viz. Aadhaar card, License, PAN Card, etc.
• Caste and Category Certificate
• Certificates of curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities (if any).

The SLAT 2022 counselling process will also be conducted along with the PI round. In the counselling session, the above documents will be checked to verify the details provided by the candidates at the time of form filling.
