SET 2022 Exam Pattern

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the exam from the following sections. The language of the question paper will be English.

Note: No marks will be deducted for wrong answers in the exam.

Symbiosis Entrance Test Syllabus

General English - Grammar, Synonyms & Antonyms, Reading Comprehension, Spelling Error, Vocabulary, Jumbled Sentences, Analogy, etc. 

Quantitative - Class X level Mathematics, Profit and Loss, Percentage, Time and Work, Discount, Speed and Distance, Number System, Probability, Permutation and Combination, Algebra, etc.

General Awareness - Current Affairs, Awards, Companies and Founders, Science, Sports, Books and Authors, etc. 

Analytical & Logical Reasoning - Series, Arrangements, Blood Relation, Syllogism, Venn Diagram, Assumptions, Coding and Decoding, Verbal Reasoning, Statements and Conclusions, Arguments and Situations, etc.

Eligibility criteria for different programmes under SET 2022 are as under. Candidates are advised to check the same before filling the application form.

SET Exam 2022 Application Process

The application process for SET 2022 started on 25th January 2022 and will continue till 24th April 2022 8th June 2022. Application forms will be accepted only through the online mode. Candidates are advised to submit their applications well in time to avoid the last-minute rush.

Procedure for SET 2022 Application Submission

• Go to the official website at www.set-test.org.
• Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button at the top of the home page.
• You will be redirected to the login page. Here, click on the ‘Register’ button.
• Read the instructions carefully and click the ‘I Agree’ button.
• Now, the registration form will appear on the screen. Enter the details asked for such as applicant’s name, DoB, gender, category, address, educational details, test city preference, etc.
• Upload your current passport size photograph as per the specifications mentioned. The photograph must be in .png, .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif format. The size of the photograph must be between 10 KB to 500 KB.
• Click the ‘Save & Continue’ button.
• Once the registration is complete, log in using your details to complete the application process.
• Proceed to the application fee payment process to complete the application process.
• The application process will be complete after the successful fee payment.

Application Fee

Application fee can be paid through Billdesk Payment Gateway, Indian Bank Payment Gateway, or Demand Draft. The application fee for SET 2022 is:

Programme Registration Fee - In addition to the application fee, candidates are also required to pay ₹ 1000/- per programme as programme registration fee.

Both application fee and programme registration fee are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Fee Payment Through Demand Draft

• Make a Demand Draft (DD) from any nationalised bank in favour of the ‘Symbiosis Test Secretariat’ payable at Pune.
• Select ‘DD Payment’ as mode of payment and take a print of the DD payment advice form.
• Fill the DD details in the form, sign it, and sent it along with the DD to Symbiosis Test Secretariat at the following address:

SET 2022 will be conducted in the following 83 cities across the country.

NOTE: Candidates can provide their preferences for exam city while filling out the application form. No change in the examination city will be entertained after the submission of the application form.

SET 2022 Admit Card

• The SET 2022 admit card will be released online at the official website.
• Candidates will be able to download the same from 29th April 2022.
• The admit card can be downloaded using the login details.
• Candidates must carry the admit card along with a photo ID proof to the exam center.
• No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without an admit card.

SET 2022 Result

SET 2022 results will be declared online at the official website. Candidates can check their scores using the login details. Further admission process will be completed by the individual institutes.
