Uttar Pradesh Scholarship Scheme 2022 is being offered by the three departments of the Yogi Government - Department of Social Welfare, State Backward Welfare Department, and Minority Welfare and Waqf Department. The scholarship schemes are for the students of Class 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, UG, PG, Certificates, and Diploma courses. These scholarships are the state government’s initiative for helping aspiring students to access higher education. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their entries for the upcoming session of UP Scholarship 2022.

Highlights of the UP Scholarship 2022:

• Students who are studying in class 9th or class 10th in the Uttar Pradesh region can apply for the Pre Matric Scholarship.
• Students who are studying in class 11th, 12th, UG, PG, Diplomas, and Certificate courses in UP can apply for the Post Matric Scholarship.
• The scholarships are available for all categories.
• Students who hold a very good academic record are eligible to apply.

UP Scholarship 2022 Online Form - Important Points To Follow

The application procedure for all the scholarships is online. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before submitting their applications. Here are some important points related to the application procedure:

• Fill in all the entries in the application form correctly.
• Those who have failed the respective qualifying exam should not apply for the scholarship.
• SMS notification will be sent on the registered mobile number of the candidates regarding acceptance or rejection of their application form.
• Candidates can track their application status using their login details at the SAKSHAM portal.

How to fill UP scholarship form 2022-23:

We have received many email inquiries last year from students asking us "how to fill UP scholarship forms and what the fee is". We have sorted them and formed a short step by step guide for applicants who want to apply for the scheme.  Follow the given procedure to fill out the application form for the scholarship program.

Step 1: Registration Process

• Visit the official website i.e. www.scholarship.up.nic.in.
• Search the “Student” section and then click on the “New Registration” button.
• Fill in all mandatory details and click on “Submit” to register.

Step 2: Login Process

• Once registered, tap on the “Student” tab and select the “Fresh Login” option for fresh applications and the “Renewal Login” option for renewal applications as per the scholarship option you are applying for.
• Enter your login credentials- registration number, date of birth, and password.
• You will be directed to a new page containing important instructions regarding form filling and click “Proceed”.

Step 3: Filling the Application Form

• After the completion of the login process, you will be directed to the user dashboard.
• Now, click on the “Fill in application form” section and enter all the required information in the field provided.
• Candidates must ensure to fill in the personal details, qualifications, and other information correctly.
• Finally, click on the “Submit” button.

Step 4: Upload a Copy of All Supporting Documents

• Once you click on the submit button, you will need to upload your scanned photograph and other supporting documents.

• Candidates are advised to upload all the documents in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Review Your Application and Submit It

• Once you have filled out the application form make sure to recheck and review the details before final submission.
• Candidates must note that there is no provision of making changes to the information filled by the applicant, once they have submitted the application form.

Step 6: Take a Print Out of Filled Application Form

• The last and final step is to save or download the filled registration form. Candidates also have to take a printout of the same and must keep the hard copy safe for further usage.

How to do Correction in UP Scholarship Form?

Performing correction is a part of the UP scholarship application process wherein the applicants are allowed to make corrections (if required) in their online application form within the stipulated period of time. The students who have filled incorrect information in the online application form can make the rectifications and submit the corrected application online. As per the officials, the timeline to make corrections in the application form falls after the application process is over.

Steps to follow –

Step 1: Log in to UP Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Online System

• To begin the process visit the online UP scholarship portal (Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Online System).
• Now, click on “Student” and select Postmatric login (either intermediate fresh/renewal or other than intermediate fresh/renewal).
• In the next step, log in using your registration number, date of birth, and password/verification code.
• Enter the captcha and submit.

Step 2: Start Making the Corrections

• After successful login, you need to check your scrutiny result which is visible on the screen.
• To make any corrections, click on the “Modify application after initial test” button.
• You will be landed on the application page.
• Make the required corrections and submit the corrected online application again.

Step 3: Submitting The Corrected Application To The Institution

• Once you have made all the corrections in the UP scholarship application 2020-21 form, take a printout of the application.
• Submit the hard copy of the corrected application to the respective institutions.

How to Check UP Scholarship Status 2021

The UP Scholarship portal allows its users to check their online application status. Whether you are a fresh applicant or want to apply for renewal, you can track your UP Scholarship Status 2022-23 through the dedicated online portal, SAKSHAM.

Information such as Registration Number and Date of Birth is necessary for checking the UP Scholarship Form Status 2022.

• To check UP Scholarship Status 2022-23, one should open the official website.
• Navigate to the “Status” tab.
• Now, enter the login credentials, such as Registration Number and Date of Birth in the available space.
• After filling in the details, select the Search button to check UP Scholarship Status.
• The complete application status of UP Scholarship 2022-23 will be displayed on the screen.

Application for Renewal

In case shortlisted students did not receive any amount of UP Scholarship for the session 2022 within the prescribed schedule, they must contact the concerned official authority.
