Shriram Transport Finance Company (STFC) Limited invites meritorious candidates to enrol themselves for the STFC India Meritorious Scholarship 2020 Programme, aiming to support financially deprived children of commercial transport drivers/owner-cum-drivers. The fellowship is working with an aim to support students who face challenges while continuing their education can avail the fellowship financial assistance which is up to ₹ 35,000 per year for the completing their higher studies at ITI / Diploma / Graduate / Engineering field.

Eligibility Criteria

For STFC India Meritorious Scholarship for Class 12 Passed (Diploma) students

  • The scheme is open for Class 12 passed students.
  • Candidates or applying students must have scored at least 60% marks in Class 10 and Class 12.
  • They must be enrolled in a Diploma/ITI/Polytechnic course at a recognised institution or college in India.
  • Family income of the candidate must be less than or equal to INR 4,00,000 (4 Lakhs) per year.
  • Candidates who wants to apply for the scheme must be the children/wards of commercial transport drivers/owner-cum-drivers only

For STFC India Meritorious Scholarship for Under Graduate students

  • The scheme is open for Under Graduate students.
  • Candidates or applying students must have scored at least 60% marks in Class 10 and Class 12
  • Candidates must be enrolled in any academic year of a 3-year or 4-year graduation/ engineering programme at a recognised university/ college/ institution in India.
  • Family income of the students must be less than or equal to INR 4,00,000 (4 Lakhs) per year.
  • A candidate must be the children/wards of commercial transport drivers/owner-cum-drivers only

For STFC India Meritorious Scholarship for Class 10 Passed (Diploma) students

  • The scholarship scheme is open for students who've passed Class 10 with at least 60% marks.
  • More than this, a candidate must be enrolled in an ITI/Polytechnic/Diploma course at a recognised institution in India.
  • Candidate’s family income must be less than or equal to ₹ 4,00,000 (4 Lakhs) per year
  • They must be belonging to the children/wards of commercial transport drivers/owner-cum-drivers only
