Secondary School Sanskrit Scholarship 2019 is available for Maharashtra Zone Candidates
The Government of Maharashtra joins hands with Department of School Education and invites auspicious candidates for the Secondary School Sanskrit Scholarship 2019 summit. The project is implementing with all the policies for the students of class 9th to 12th who are studying Sanskrit as one of the main subjects. The scholarship aims to develop a strategic plan to propagate and promote Sanskrit Language into another level. To enrich the ground roots of this ancient language, the state government took an initiative to disseminate the information about this particular language and develop the literacy rate in the Sanskrit language. Apart from this, the Sansthan implements various scholarship schemes for the meritorious students of the Maharashtra origin. The closing date to submit the official application for the scheme is 31st January 2019.

What are the Criteria of Eligibility for the Scheme?
Candidates who are currently enrolled in Class 9th to 12th and studying Sanskrit from Maharashtra recognized board or university. The fellowship will be provided to the students on the basis of their marks in previous year examination.
