Ministry of Home Affairs invites application for the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for CAPFs and Assam Rifles 2018-19

Once again under the aegis of the National Defense Fund, the Welfare and Rehabilitation Board, Ministry of Home Affairs came up with a national level scholarship scheme for dependent widows and wards of the central armed police forces and Assam Rifles personnel. The candidates are advised to check the complete information and eligibility standards as maintained by the authority.

Benefits of the Contest:

Total 2000 scholarships will be distributed equally for both boys and girls under the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles 2018-19.

Eligibility criteria:

Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply for the scholarship.

Educational Qualifications:

• An Applicant must hold a passing mark sheet of class 12, Diploma, Graduation or equivalent examination with at least 60 percent marks.
• Students who are pursuing their professional degree courses such as Medicine, Dental, BBA, BCA, B. Pharm, Engineering, MBA, MCA, Veterinary, B. Sc etc are eligible to apply.
• For the candidates who are applying under renewal category, it is compulsory to pass each subsequent academic year of professional courses with at least 50 percent marks.

Additional Details: Family member of the applicant

• Must be a retired or serving person of wards or window of CAPFs & AR Personnel below Officer Rank.
• Must be the dependents of the CAPF & Assam Rifles personnel died on the duty in an election or any other duty.
• If there is a delay by the candidate to submit a renewal application of scholarship, then a grace period of one year may be entertained.

• Applicants have to register as a new user on this website.
• Now log in with the registration details.
• Fill the application form.
• Scanned and attach a copy of all required documents.
• Provide your genuine account details of the bank.
• Submit the application form.
• Download and print your filled application form for future reference.

Note: All the aspirants are advised to fill the form accurately; no changes can be made once the application entry submitted. Also, more than one application by the single candidate will lead to the cancellation of the form.
