The scholarship aimed to foster the culture of corporate law and deliver lectures on the development and emerging trends of commercial and corporate practices.

Pranita Mehta Scholarship 2019: Eligibility Criteria
- Undergraduates or postgraduates student, who get admission in any law school/college/university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Applications are inviting from all over India.
- For the participation, candidates need to submit a write-up on one of the above mentioned topics.
Pranita Mehta Memorial Essay Competition 2019: Application Procedure
First of all, the candidate needs to register themselves for the essay writing competition.
For the registration process:
- Mail your entry as a 'Consent of Participation' and send it to [email protected]
- Apart from this send a bona fide certificate from the applicant’s university with the following information:
- Name of the participant:
- Year and Course (UG/PG):
- Name of the University:
- Contact Phone Number:
- Address (for delivery of the certificate):
For the submission process:
- Submit your essay through the same mailing address i.e. [email protected]
- An applicant needs to name the file as “Participant’s name_Topic”.
- An email must contain the subject line of “Submission: Pranita Mehta Essay Competition, 2019”.
- Finally, send your entry.

4th Pranita Mehta Scholarship – Important Dates
The application deadline for the 4th Pranita Mehta Memorial Essay Competition 2019 was available from 12th October 2019 to 10th January 2020. On the other hand, applicants can check their result at the official website by March 2020 first week. Guidelines for Submission of Application:
- The essay submission should be sent only in MS-Word (.docx/.doc) format.
- The piece of work must be submitted only in the English language.
- The submission shall be typewritten in an A4 sized document with a 1-inch margin on all sides.
- The essay should be written in Times New Roman Font Style.
- The main text must follow the font size 12 and footnotes shall be written in font size 10.
- Candidates need to write an essay within a word limit of 3,000 words only.
- The abstract of an essay must be not more than the 300-word limit.
- Entries which contain any form of plagiarism shall be going for disqualification.
- Copyright of the submission shall remain with CLS.
