National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a national level entrance test which is jointly conducted by the University of Mumbai (Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences)- UM-DAE CEBS, Mumbai and National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar for taking admissions in integrated programs of MSc in these academies. Through this platform, students get to collect the in-depth exposure of Basic Sciences subjects like Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Talking much more about the eligibility criteria, students of Class 12th passed with 60% marks in aggregate can fill the application form till 11 March 2019. The National Entrance Screening Test will schedule to be conducted in 91 cities around the corner of India.

The Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India facilitates Indian students with numerous scholarship perks as mentioned below:
- Secure a seat in the premises of National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai (Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences) Mumbai.
- The fellowship recipients will secure an annual scholarship allowance of ₹ 20,000 for a summer session.
- An annual fellowship amount of ₹ 60,000 will be granted either through DISHA program of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India or INSPIRE program of Department of Science and Technology.
- The top scorers of CEBS and NISER are eligible to perform directly in the interview round for taking admissions to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) training school.

National Entrance Screening Test 2019- Eligibility Criteria
In order to take admission and securing a seat under the course ground of Integrated MSc program are as follows-
A Criterion of Eligibility:
- Aspirants born on or after August 01, 1999 are eligible to apply.
- The applicant is the one who has qualified class 12th exam either in 2017 or 2018 academic year can apply. Other than this aspirant who is eligible to appear in 2019 session are also eligible to apply.
- The participant must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate in class 12th or equivalent from any recognized Board in India.
- For SC, ST, PWD or any other minority category scholars need to secure only 55% marks for the NEST 2019 exam.
- The applicant must hold an appropriate position in the National Entrance Screening Test- Merit list.
Note: There is a relaxation of 5 years for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Physically Disabled students.
Steps for Application- NEST 2019-20
Follow these simple guidelines in order to successfully submit an application. Students are advised to visit the official site of the National Entrance Screening Test and fulfill the basic eligibility background for an application.
- Click here to register a new entry.
- After this enter your credentials and register your entry.
- Students get an OTP on their registered email address or phone number in order for confirmation.
- After this enter OTP and complete your registration details.
- Now again, login and start filling your application form.
- Upload a copy of necessary documents along with an application form.
- Pay the application fees of ₹ 1200 for General and OBC candidates while ₹ 600 for SC/ST/PWD and Female candidates.
- Submit your form.
Note: Payments for the scheme will be done via online modes such as credit card, debit card, net-banking, and other payment options.

Candidates seeking admission to NISER and UM–DAE CEBS for the integrated MSc program 2019–24 should be from regular science stream only (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics) in classes 11 and 12. |

For the aspirants appearing in class 12th, a Letter Grade has given by the Board, a certificate from the Board specifying equivalent percentage marks will be required. In the absence of such a certificate, the decision of the respective Admission Committees will be final. |

Necessary certificates supporting eligibility criteria have to be furnished at the time of admission. |
