Malayalee Engineers Association (MEA) opens applications from the 1st year UG students of engineering, technology, computer science, architecture, and naval architecture who get enrolled in an Indian government recognized engineering college or universities. The MEA Scholarship 2020 is only for the brilliant and needy students of Kerala region.
Every year the number and award money of the fellowship is determined by the trustees and committee members of the MEA Scholarship Fund. The fellowship is valid for the duration of five years. The MEA Scholarship 2020 Scheme is a modest scheme to provide assistance to financially needy undergraduate students with good academic record and potential for future excellence.

Who Can Apply?
Nationality: The applicant should be a Malayalee and should be pursuing an engineering degree at a college in Kerala, India.
Education Qualifications: The applicant must have passed and scored at least 85 % marks in Class X and XII examinations.
The candidate must have appeared for Kerala State Level Entrance Examination and get a rank in between 1 to 5000 in the examination.
For B.Arch candidates it is mandatory to obtain a score greater than 110 in NATA Test.
Family Income: The income of the applicant’s family should not more than ₹ 1, 50,000 annually.
Additional Information: The participants pursuing a degree through lateral entry are not allowed to apply for this scholarship scheme.
Students who are in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of their graduation are not eligible to apply.

- Fill the form electronically or manually.
- Now download the ‘Recommendation Letter’ and certified by the Principal/ Headmaster/ Teacher of the school where the student completed his/her class 10th or class 12th.
- Finally, send the attested and scanned copies of completed ‘Detailed Scholarship Application Form’ and ‘Recommendation Letter’ along with other supporting documents at http://meahouston.org/scholarship/applyforscholarship/ with the subject line ‘MEA 2020 Scholarship application- “Applicant’s Name”.
