IIT Roorkee Centre of Nanotechnology Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2021 - Eligibility, Application Process
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee has invited applications for the IIT Roorkee Centre of Nanotechnology Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2021. Ph.D. degree holders are eligible to apply for the post. Selected candidates are to work for the project titled; ‘Design and development of a biofilm modulated antibiotic releasing coating system for orthopaedic implants.’ The selected fellows will receive ₹ 55,000 per month for the first two years and ₹ 60,000 per month for the third year.

Eligibility
- Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Biochemistry/ Biomaterials/ Biomedical/ Bio-nanotechnology with quality publications in related fields and relevant working experience.
- Those who have recently submitted their doctoral thesis can also apply for the fellowship. Such candidates are required to provide proof of the award of Ph.D. at the time of interview.
Award/ Benefits
- Selected fellows will receive ₹ 55,000 per month for the first two years and ₹ 60,000 per month for the third year.
- A contingency grant of ₹ 50,000 per annum will also be given.
Duration
The fellowship will be of two years, extendable by one year (if required).

Application Process
The applications for the fellowship are to be submitted through both post and email. Here is the detailed process:
- Write an application and prepare a cover letter.
- Get your CV ready.
- Get the scanned images of all the documents.
- Attach the scanned images in an email message and send them to [email protected]. The subject of the email should be ‘Application for Post-Doctoral Fellow Position’.
- Also, enclose all the documents along with the application and cover letter in an envelope and send it by regular post to:

Selection Process
