HDFC Bank Parivartan’s ECS Scholarship in School Programme (Merit-cum-Means Based)

Eligibility

• Only Indian nationals are eligible.
• Students must be studying in class 6th to 12th in any recognised private, government or government-aided school.
• Students must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in the previous examination.
• Annual family income must be less than or equal to ₹ 2.5 lakh.

HDFC Bank Parivartan’s ECS Scholarship Beyond School Programme (Merit-Cum-Means Based)

Eligibility

• Only Indian Nationals can apply.
• Pursuing a non-professional UG or PG course (BA, B.Com, MA, M.Com) from a recognised University.
• Diploma/ Polytechnic students are also eligible.
• Minimum marks in the previous qualifying examination - 55%.
• Annual family income must be less than 2.5 lakh.

HDFC Bank Parivartan’s ECS Scholarship Professional Education Programme (Merit-Cum-Means Based)

Eligibility

• The candidate must be an Indian national.
• Candidates pursuing professional courses at UG or PG level from a recognised university.
• Must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in the previous qualifying examination.
• Annual family income - Less than or equal to ₹ 2.5 lakh.

HDFC Bank Parivartan’s ECS Scholarship in School Programme (Need-Based)

Eligibility

• Open for Indian nationals only.
• Must be studying in class 6th to 12th in government, government-aided, or private schools.
• Candidates facing any personal or financial crisis in the past three years due to which they are unable to continue their education or are at the risk of dropping out.

HDFC Bank Parivartan’s ECS Scholarship Beyond School Programme (Need-Based)

Eligibility

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
• Applicants must be pursuing non-professional courses such as BA, B.Com, MA, M.Com from a recognised university.
• Those pursuing a Diploma or Polytechnic after class 10th or 12th can also apply.
• Those facing any personal/ financial crisis that occurred during the past three years due to which they are unable to cover the cost of education are eligible.

Eligibility

• Only Indian nationals are eligible.
• Candidates must be pursuing a professional course from a recognised university.
• Must be facing a personal/ financial issue in the past three years due to which the cost of education is not bearable and the student is at the risk of dropping out.

Required Documents

Candidates are required to keep the following documents ready:

• Identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License)
• Passport size photograph
• Last year's mark sheets (2019-20) (If you don’t have the mark sheet for the 2019-20 session, please upload the mark sheet for the 2018-19 session.)
• Current Year Admission Proof (2020-21 Admission Letter/ Fee Receipt/ Bonafide Certificate/ Institution ID Card)
• Applicant Bank Passbook/ Cancelled Cheque
• Income Proof (any one of these - Income Proof issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward Counsellor/Sarpanch, Income Proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar, Affidavit)
• Proof of family crisis in case of need-based scholarships (death certificate of the earning member, job loss proof, expenditure on medical treatment, COVID-19 affected, natural disaster)

Application Process

Here is the application process for the scholarship:

• Visit the Buddy4Study official website.
• Look for the scholarship.
• Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
• Register using your email/ Facebook/ Gmail account.
• The application form will appear on the screen.
• Click on the ‘Start Application’ button and begin.
• Fill in all the details in the respective fields.
• Upload the required documents.
• Preview the completed application form and check all the details carefully before final submission. If there is any mistake, correct it. If not, submit the completed application form.

Selection Process

The selection process is as follows:

• Complete applications will be shortlisted based on academic merit and financial requirements.
• Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a telephonic interview round. The final selection will be made after the telephonic interview.
