Digital Bharti COVID Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• Students of classes 1st to 12th (across the country) can apply for the scholarship.
• Those who have lost one or both parents since January 2020
• Students must be continuing their education.

Benefits under Digital Bharti COVID Scholarship 2021

• Vouchers for subscriptions at online educational portals
• Tablet/ laptops for digital learning
• Access to online counselling and career guidance

The scholarship/ benefits will be given for five successive years considering the following renewal criteria:

• No dropout from regular studies
• Performance in the last academic year
• A final decision by a selection committee on the basis of the candidate’s need and availability of resources

Students are required to upload the following documents every year in the online scholars tracking system to continue the scholarship benefits:

• Admission proof of progressing to the next academic year
• Marksheet/ grade report of passing the last exam

Required Documents

Candidates are required to upload the scanned images of the following documents while applying for the scholarship. We recommend keeping the documents ready beforehand for smooth and quick application submission.

• A government-issued ID proof (Aadhaar Card/ PAN card)
• Passport size photograph
• Marksheet of the previous educational qualification
• Current year admission proof (Admission Letter/ Fee Receipt/ Institution ID Card)
• Death Certificate of the Parent (s)
• ID proof of Parent/ Guardian
• Bank account details of applicant/ parent/ guardian

Application Process for Digital Bharti COVID Scholarship

Applicants can apply for the scholarship through the Buddy4Study portal. Here are the steps for application submission:

• Visit the official website.
• Search for the Digital Bharti COVID scholarship.
• When the scholarship page opens, click on the Apply Now button.
• Register on the portal via your Gmail account/ Email ID/ Mobile Number/ Facebook account.
• After registration, the scholarship page will open. Click on the ‘Start Application’ button.
• Fill in all the details in the application form.
• Upload the required documents.
• Read the Terms & Conditions and accept them.
• Preview the application form and check all the details carefully.
• If all the details are correct to your knowledge, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

Digital Bharti COVID Scholarship Selection Process

The selection of scholars is done based on the need-cum-crisis basis. It is done in the following stages:

• Digital verification of documents
• Shortlisting of applications
• Telephonic interaction with applicant or family members

Voucher codes will be transferred to applicants’/ guardians’ every year provided the renewal criteria are met.
