Scholarship Amount:

All the selected candidates will get a fund for travelling, meeting & conferences and for the publication of results from postdoctoral work. Also, the qualified scholars will receive the employment opportunities on the world-wide stage.

  • An applicant must hold a PhD degree in the relevant field of study i.e. (chemistry, microbiology, geosciences, and physics).

Selection Criteria:

The scholarship committee evaluates the overall proposal of an applicant on the basis of his/her original thinking and creativity to determine a developed strategy of research.

All the candidates need to qualify the complete stages of the scholarship scheme to avail the benefits in future:

  • Initially, the candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their research proposal by the committee members.
  • At last shortlisted candidates will call for an interview process in the month of January.
  • Finally, selected winners will get this scholarship in the duration between 1 July 2019 and 31 December 2019.

Rules and Regulations:

  1. The Geophysical Laboratory permits students to work in the world-class experimental and analytical facilities and provide them with lots of facilities in the fellowship time period.
  2. Participants will not be discriminated on the basis of race, disability, gender, protected veteran status or another group status.
  3. The decision of the committee will be considered as final.
  4. Must hold a PhD in a relevant subject.
