The Camel Art Foundation Contest 2018 is a platform to color the imagination world of thousands of children in the country. This contest provides an opportunity to emphasize the talent of youth in the field of art and creativity.

To extend the meaning of creativity and arty skills of budding talented artists, the Camel Art Foundation comes forward to provide a financial assistance to the visual artist so that they can excel in their respective fields. To bring out the ‘hidden talent’ of children and enlarging the spectrum of ability, the Camel Art Foundation Contest 2018 is the best platform to canvas the language of art. Every year this online national level contest invites application from the professional artists and appreciates their brilliance.

Once again the Camel Art Foundation Contest 2018 came up with a challenge to identify and discover the world of talent. Applicants above 18 years of age are eligible to apply for this national level contest. The last date to apply online for Camel Art Foundation Contest 2018 is 31st December 2018.

Eligibility criteria:

Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply for the Camel Art Foundation Contest 2018.

Age Limit for the contest: Participants above the age of 18 years are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualifications: Applicant must hold a certificate and enrol as a student in any of the art institute.

Application process:

Interested and eligible students can apply for the examination via online mode only.

Steps to apply:

  • Click here to apply online for the contest 2018.
  • Fill your personal and entry details.
  • Now, upload scanned images of Artwork and Student ID/ Pan card.
  • Double check your details before further proceedings.
  • Submit your application form and take a print out for further use.

Rules for the contest:

  1. For the contest, the applicant needs to choose any one category either student or professional.
  2. There are only four mediums available- Oil, Acrylic, Water and Drawing & Pastels for the contest.
  3. Applicants may send unlimited entries in any or all mediums.
  4. No other details should appear on the painting.
  5. It is mandatory for the professionals to attach a copy of their Pan Card.
  6. Applicants must submit ID card of institute or letter from the learning institute.
  7. Painting made by the applicant must be an original piece of work and executed after May 2017.
  8. The painting should be prepared only for this contest.
  9. Any painting that has been exhibited in any other competitive contest shall be disqualified.
  10. The actual size of the painting without a frame should be above 30 X 30 cm.
  11. The winners will be declared after the submission of the portfolio and telephonic or Skype Interview.
  12.  The national prize will be sponsored by the EuroArt Tour for 7 to 8 winners in professional and student category.
  13. The EuroArt Tour will be valid for 7 to 10 days to any art-centric location.
  14. The tour will be executed in the month of May to July 2019.
  15. The 2 National Best Entry winners will be awarded Camel product prizes worth of ₹ 21,000/- each.
  16. Trophy and certificates will be couriered or hand delivers to National Winners in 2019.
  17. The awards are not transferable.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The participant must agree that Camel Art Foundation shall have the rights to use/ reproduce or sell any of the participated works in their publications.
  • The respected artist will be mentioned but no payment will be given to the artist in either cash or any other prize.
  • The entrants must understand that the Camel Art Foundation reserves the right to disqualify the entry.
  • If the applicant work is not satisfactory for the contest in terms of quality, number or finesse the jury will reject the piece of art.
  • It’s a fair competition and all the winners will be declared on the basis of their artistic work.
  •  It is advisable to read all the instruction and terms & conditions before applying for the contest.
  • If the paintings get selected for any of the Art Gallery which is associated with Camel Art Foundation, then the associate art gallery will keep 30% as administrative costs and balance proceeds from the sale will be given to the particular respective artist.
  • The artist should be aware that all the associated art galleries have their own set of rules and regulations and terms & conditions.
  • The Camel Art Foundation shall not be responsible for any claims and or damages from any participants or artists.
  • If in case of any legal action is initiated, the case should be filed in Mumbai Jurisdiction.
