Admission to Punjab ITI colleges is done based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam. No separate entrance exam is conducted for the same. Thus, there is no information for this section.

Punjab ITI Admission 2022 Eligibility

Nationality/ Domicile

• Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Must have a domicile of Punjab state.

Age Limit

• The minimum age limit is 14 years for admission to Punjab ITIs. However, for the Driver-cum-Mechanic Trade (Light Motor Vehicle), the minimum age limit is 18 years. There is no upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed class 8th or 10th examination with relevant subjects from a recognised institute. Educational qualification varies as per trades. Candidates must check the same before applying.

For Engineering trades, Science and Mathematics subjects are compulsory in the qualifying exam.

Applications for the Punjab ITI admission 2022 are to be submitted through online mode. Applications will not be accepted through any other mode. The detailed application process is mentioned below.

Documents to be Uploaded

Candidates are required to upload the following documents in JPG/ PDF format while filling out the application form. The file size must be between 50 KB and 200 KB.

Steps for Filling the Punjab ITI Application Form

• Visit the official website www.itipunjab.nic.in.
• Click on the link for Punjab ITI admission.
• Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ button.
• Read the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click the ‘Agree’ radio button.
• The registration form will appear on the screen. Enter your name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, email Id, mobile number, and choose a password. Enter the captcha and click the ‘Submit’ button.
• Click the confirmation.
• A review page for registration will appear on the screen. Here, you can edit the information if there is any error or move ahead.
• A One-Time Password will be sent to your mobile number and email ID for verification. Enter the OTP to complete the verification process for successful registration.
• After successful registration, a unique application number will be generated.
• Complete the remaining sections with details of domicile, category, annual family income, document verification. Click the ‘Save & Next’ button and provide confirmation.
• Enter the qualification details, additional qualifications, experience, contact details, etc.
• Upload the required documents/ images. Preview the same and do the final submission.
• Make registration fee payment.
• After successful payment, submit the form.

Application Fee

Candidates need to pay ₹ 100 as the application fee. The application fee can be paid only through the online mode using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Punjab ITI Admission 2022 - Merit List/ Seat Allotment

• The officials will prepare the Punjab ITI merit list and will release the same on the official website.
• The merit list will be released for every round of counselling in the form of a seat allotment list.

• The merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
• It will have information about the candidate’s name, application number, category, total marks, rank, and qualifying status.
