PTU Exam 2022 Important Dates

As mentioned above, the university only conducts the counselling process for admission. The important dates for the counselling process are as under:

The counselling schedule will be announced once the JEE Main, NEET, NATA results are announced as the admission will be based on these scores.

PTU Exam 2022 Pattern & Syllabus

From the year 2019 onwards, the university has discontinued the Common Entrance Test. Instead, the admissions are based on the scores of popular entrance exams for different courses. So, for example, for B.Tech admissions, JEE Main scores are considered, for B.Arch, NATA scores are considered and so on.

PTU Exam 2022 Eligibility

Candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria before applying for admission. Here are the course-wise details:

For B.Tech. Course

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with Physics and Mathematics and any one of the subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, and Computer Science.

Or

Must have done a two-year certificate course from SLIET.

• Must have a valid JEE Main scorecard.

For B.Arch. Course

• Must have passed class 12th or 10+3 year Diploma for a recognized board/ college with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Mathematics is a compulsory subject in the qualifying exam.
• Must have a valid NATA score.

For MBA Course

• Must have a bachelor’s degree (any stream) from a recognized college.
• Must have CMAT scorecard

For M.Tech.

• Must have B.Tech./ BE degree from a recognized institute with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST).
• Must have a valid GATE scorecard.

For M.Pharm. Course

• Must have a degree in Pharma from a recognized institute.
• Must have a GPAT scorecard.

PTU Exam 2022 Application Process

Although there is no entrance exam conducted by the university, application forms are released for admission. Candidates interested in taking admission to the university are required to submit their applications online through the official website. Here are the steps to be followed:

• Visit the official website and click on the 2022 admission link.
• Start with the registration process by providing basic details asked.
• After successful registration, log in using the credentials.
• Complete the application form with qualification details, course opted for, stream, etc.
• Make a payment of the application fee, and you will receive a confirmation message on successful fee payment.
• Take a printout of the filled application form.

Application Fee

The application fee is to be paid using a debit or credit card or net banking. The fee details are as under:

The counselling fee for one course is ₹ 2000.

PTU CET admits cards are not released as there is no entrance exam.

PTU Exam 2022 Result/ Merit List

The PTU merit list will be released after the application submission is complete. Candidates can check the merit list on the official website. The merit list is prepared based on candidates’ performance in the qualifying exam and the respective entrance exam.

PTU Exam 2022 Cut Off

Authorities will release the PTU cut-off at the official website. Cut-offs will be released separately for different courses. Cut-offs will be based on the candidate's rank, total availability of seats, etc.

PTU Exam Counselling 2022

PTU counselling will comprise fee payment, registration, choice filling, etc. The counselling process will be online. Candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below:

Fee Payment: Submit the counselling fee of ₹ 2,000 using debit/ credit card or net banking.

Online Registration: After paying the counselling fee, register by providing basic details, qualifications, etc.

Choice Filling: Fill in the college choices as per the prescribed schedule based on your preferences. Take a print of the filled choices for future references.

Seat Allotment: Seat allotment will be made by the authorities based on the candidate's rank and preferences provided. Check the allotment process using your login credentials. Messages for the same will be sent to the registered mobile number.

Reporting: After seat allotment, report at the allotted college for the document verification and admission process. The following documents (in original) are being carried at the time of reporting:
