ONGC Recruitment 2022 Pattern & Syllabus
The selection for the engagement of Apprentices is done based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam and merit list prepared. If two or more candidates have a similar merit rank, the candidate with higher age would be considered.
As per the official notification; “ No canvassing or influencing would be acceptable at any time and may render for non-consideration.”

ONGC Recruitment 2022 Eligibility

ONGC Recruitment 2022 Application Process
Interested young fellows are required to visit the official website of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) to fill out the application form. The online applications for apprentices will be available soon. The application forms will be accepted only through the online mode. Here are the steps to be followed:
Things Required Before Filling the Application Form
- An active email ID
- A Valid Mobile Number
- Scanned image of the colored passport-size photograph in JPG format. The size of the image must be between 20 to 50 KB.
- Scanned image of candidate’s signature in black ink in JPG format. The size of the image should be between 20 to 30 KB.
Steps to Apply for ONGC Recruitment 2022
- Visit the ONGC website.
- The online registration comprises two parts - Part-I and Part-II.
- Part-I of the registration requires the candidate to fill in his/her basic details such as name, mobile number, email ID, category, selecting a password, etc. After submitting the details, a system-generated registration number is sent to the mobile number/ email ID.
- The registration number and password are the log-in credentials for future use.
- Now, visit the candidate’s portal again and log in using the details to complete the Part-II registration.
- In part II of the registration, candidates are required to fill in the educational qualification, experience details, upload the scanned images of photograph and signature, etc.
- Modification in the application form is not allowed. So, candidates are advised to fill in all the details carefully.
- Finally, submit your application and take a printout of the application form.

ONGC Recruitment 2022 - Important Instructions
Candidates must take note of these important points before filling out the recruitment form:
Read the eligibility detail, vacancies, and other information carefully before submitting your application.
- Candidates must not have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursued any Apprenticeship training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Those who have training or job experience of one or more years after attaining the required qualification are NOT eligible for the Apprentice.
- “ONGC shall have no obligation to offer regular employment to Apprentices during and/or after the completion of the apprenticeship period. After successful completion of the Apprenticeship period, candidates shall be relieved from the respective work area.”
- Candidates can apply ONLY for one trade code. Those applying for more than one trade code will not be considered for any of the trade.
- One mobile number and email ID can be used only for filling out one application form.
- Candidates who have qualifications through Distance Learning mode or Part-Time/ Correspondence mode will not be considered.
- Final selection will be done only after being declared medically fit.

ONGC Recruitment 2022 - Document Verification and Joining
Those who have been shortlisted will be called for the document verification process. The document verification process is carried out before the joining. Selected candidates are required to take a print of the registration form and bring it on the day of document verification. The organization will intimate the candidates about the list of documents to be brought for verification via email/ SMS.
