SSC JE Paper-2 Result 2018 Declared – Check Steps to Download
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the result for SSC Junior Engineer Paper-2 (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) exam 2018. The result is available on the official website and candidates who have appeared for the exam can check it. The SSC JE exam is conducted in three phases:
- Paper 1
- Paper 2
- Document Verification
The commission has conducted the SSC JE Paper-2 exam on 29th December 2019 at various exam centres across the country. As per the official notification; “Result of Paper-I of Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying and Contracts) Examination, 2018 was declared on 12.12.2019 and an additional result was declared on 27.12.2019. Based on the result of Paper-I of the said examination, 10635 candidates (Civil: 8697 and Electrical/ Mechanical: 1938) were qualified for appearing in Paper-II. Paper-II of the said examination was conducted on 29.12.2019.”
Steps to check the SSC JE Result 2018
Check the SSC JE Paper-2 result through the following steps:
- Go to the official website - https://ssc.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘Result’ tab on the home-page.
- Select ‘JE’ tab.
- Click on the PDF link under the ‘Result’ column for SSC JE Paper-2 2018 exam.
- The result PDF will open containing roll number, name, and category of the qualified candidates.
- Check your details to see the selection status.
The marks of qualified/ non-qualified candidates will be uploaded on the official website of the commission on 15th September 2020. The marks can be checked till 14th October 2020.

Document Verification Phase
Candidates who have qualified the Paper-II will be called for the Document Verification process. The official notification states; “Document Verification will be conducted w.e.f. 28.09.2020 (tentatively). The Admit Cards of the qualified candidates for appearing in Document Verification will be uploaded on the websites of the respective Regional Offices before the conduct of the document verification. The candidates who are unable to download their Admit Cards may contact the concerned Regional Offices immediately. The responsibility of ensuring the download of the Admit Cards is solely of the candidates.”
