Meritorious BPL Students get Pratidhwani Scholarship
The Pratidhwani social-cultural and welfare association distributed the first instalment of the Pratidhwani scholarship to 150 students. Under this scholarship scheme, deserving students are given financial benefit in three instalments. The total amount of the scholarship grant to each student is ₹ 24,000. In the first instalment of the scholarship, students are given ₹ 9,000. The rest of the scholarship amount will be given through the direct bank transfer in the bank accounts of the selected students.
The Pratidhwani Scholarships are given to those students who belong to the BPL (Below Poverty Line) in the Thiruvananthapuram district and have scored A + GRADES in all subjects in the SSLC exam.

The Pratidhwani scholarships were distributed by V. S Achuthanandan, Chairman of the Administrative Reform Commission. He applauded the IT community association to have come forward to provide aid for education to the needy/ disadvantaged sections of the society. So far it is seen that under corporate social responsibility business organizations were coming forward, but now corporate employees have also started delivering their social responsibility through such associations.
The scholarship function was also attended by the Kadakampally Surendran, the Kerala Minister for Tourism and Devaswom. He also applauded this philanthropic step of the association and added further that Kerala has always emphasised the education of the common masses more than other states.
