The National Board of Examination, exam conducting body of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Super Specialty (NEET SS 2020) exam has released the NEET SS Results 2020 by 25th September 2020. Those, who have appeared for the NEET Super Specialty Entrance exam 2020 on 15th September 2020 will be required to visit the official website of the NBE to check the results. Candidates can check the status of their admission to MCh / DM Entrance Test online on the official website, the link for the same is nbe.edu.in. To check the results, candidates are required to enter the verified login details in the result link which is available on the official website.

NEET SS Result 2020: How to Check NEET Super Specialty Results?
- Step 1: Go to the official website of NBE- nbe.edu.in.
- Step 2: Select ‘NEET SS 2020 exam’ from the tabs given on the home page.
- Step 3: Select the result PDF for the respective super specialty course.
- Step 4: Scroll through the list to find the NEET SS 2020 roll number.
- Step 5: Check the marks and rank obtained in the PDF.
- Step 6: Save the NEET SS 2020 result for future reference.
NEET SS Result Is Available Now In The Form of Merit List
NEET SS Result is available now in the form of a merit list at the official website. The Merit List will be published as a PDF File that will contain details about the candidates i.e. their roll numbers, the score secured by them in the entrance exam and their merit position and selection status. Candidates must note that merit list will include only those candidates who meet the minimum qualifying criteria for NEET SS Result 2020. To qualify the examination, a candidate must secure 50th percentile or above in the result of NEET Super Specialty Examination 2020. This qualifying percentile has been set by the Medical Council of India. Candidates who secure less than 50th percentile in the examination will not be eligible to participate in the admission process. However, MCI can revise the qualifying percentile in cases where the number of seats exceeds the number of qualified candidates.
NEET SS Result 2020 (Announced): Check Tie-Breaking Criteria
While preparing the result of NEET SS, the authority often discovers that the scores for two or more candidates are equal. To be fair in preparing the NEET SS rank list, NBE has a tie-breaking mechanism for such situations. The protocol that is followed in case of a tie while preparing the result of NEET SS is as follows:
Candidate with fewer incorrect responses in the examination will be ranked higher than the others
- If the number of incorrect responses is the same, a candidate with a higher aggregate in Part B of the question paper will be ranked higher than the others.
- If the marks obtained in Part B are equal, a candidate with fewer incorrect responses in Part B of the question paper will be ranked higher than the others.
- If all the above parameters are equal, the candidate who is older in age will be ranked higher than the others.
NEET SS 2020 Result: What Next?
Candidates who will qualify the NEET SS result will be eligible to attend the counselling process. NEET SS 2020 counselling will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India. The role of NBE ends with the preparation of NEET SS 2020 result and rank lists. Counselling and the subsequent admission process is the responsibility of MCC. It is said that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Super Specialty Counselling 2020 is likely to begin in the month of October 2020.

On the basis of NEET SS Result 2020, medical aspirants will be able to seek admission to 31 super specialities. NEET SS Results will clear the decks for selection of medical aspirants for 2,447 Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) seats to be occupied in 156 government and private medical colleges and Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) institutions across the nation.
