NEET UG 2020 Admit Card Released By NTA – Download Call Letter
Candidates can avail their NTA NEET UG 2020 admit card from 27th August till 12th September 2020 onwards.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2020 exam. After several arguments regarding the cancellation of NEET 2020 exam due to COVID-19, finally the NEET 2020 admit cards are available at the official website of NTA NEET.
As per the latest update, National Testing Agency (NTA) has changed the examination centre for some candidates who are registered for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) undergraduate level examination, due implementation of COVID-19 measures. NEET-UG 2020 is scheduled to be held on September 13. NTA in its official notice on Thursday said that such candidates whose exam centres have been changed, have been intimated through SMS, e-mail and calls. These candidates will have to download their revised admit card from the official website at - ntaneet.nic.in.
NEET Admit Card 2020 - Important Points
- Admit card will not be sent by post to any candidate under any circumstances.
- Candidates should check all the details on the admit card carefully and report the discrepancies (if any) to the exam conducting authority.
- Keep the admit card safe till the end of the admission process.
How to download the NEET 2020 Admit Card?
- Go to the NEET official website.
- Click on the link for NEET admit card.
- Submit your application number, DOB, and security pin to log-in.
- Your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Check all the details carefully and download the admit card.
- Take a clear print of the admit card.
Admit card is mandatory for entering the examination hall. Candidates must make sure that they reach the examination venue (as mentioned on the admit card) on time. Read the instructions on the admit card carefully.
NEET UG 2020 is going to be conducted through offline (pen and paper-based) mode on 13th September 2020 at several centres across the country. The exam is conducted for getting admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses offered by colleges/institutes across India.
What details are mentioned in the NEET admit card 2020?
The details mentioned on the admit card of NEET 2020 will be matched with the Id proof of the candidate on the day of the examination. If they do not match, the candidate is not allowed to appear for the examination. Thus, it is important to check the NEET admit card 2020 for errors.
NEET 2020 Admit Card – Exam Centres
NTA has also attached the list of old and new centres in the official notice. Altogether, 44 examination centres in various states including Assam, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand etc have been changed. All candidates whose NEET exam centres 2020 have been revised have to download their admit card again. NTA has released the revised admit card of NEET 2020 for such candidates. NEET Exam Schedule 2020
NEET UG 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 13th September 2020 (Sunday). Timings of the exam are as under:
- Exam commences - 2:00 PM
- Exam concludes - 5:00 PM
The exam will comprise of 180 objective type questions from Chemistry, Physics, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The exam will be conducted in 11 languages including Hindi and English.
NEET 2020 Exam Result
The NEET 2020 exam result will be declared in the month of October. The result will be available on the official website. Candidates can check the same using their log-in details. NEET UG 2020 exam is conducted to grant admissions to UG medical and dental courses in prominent institutes and colleges throughout the country recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). From 2020 onwards, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2020 exam is the only medical exam held for admissions to MBBS and BDS course.
