14^th November 2020 (Saturday) - The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the results for RRB-VIII officer assistant (multi-purpose) and officers scale- I recruitment exam 2020. Candidates who appeared for RRB- VIII officer assistant (multi-purpose) and officers scale- I recruitment exams are requested to visit ibps. to check and download their respective results. Candidates can view the provisional allotment list for both the recruitment exams on the IBPS's official website. Aspirants requested to use their login details to get the results.

IBPS RRB Result 2020: How to check result online?

1. Visit the official website - ibps.in.

2. Click on the link "Office Assistant and Officer Scale- 1 result".

3. Login using the registration number and password.

4. Your IBPS RRB provisional list will be displayed on the screen.

5. Download the result and take its print out for future reference.

If two or more candidates score the same marks, the eligibility order will be decided on the basis of birth, where the young candidate is kept low according to the rules. All provisional allotted candidates will be notified in person through email and SMS.

IBPS RRB 2020 Result – Exam Highlights

IBPS RRB result 2020 for the prelims exam is now available by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The prelims exam was conducted on 12^th and 13^th September 2020 for Officers Scale I and 19^th, 20^th, and 26^th September for Office Assistant posts. The scorecard is released a few days after the declaration of the result. Candidates need to login with their credentials to download the scorecard. IBPS RRB scorecard displays details such as the candidate's name, roll number, registration number, exam date, category, the state applied for, minimum score, IBPS RRB cutoff marks, score obtained by them. The hard copy of the scorecard is not sent to candidates by post.

IBPS RRB 2020 Result: Calculation of Scores

The scores of candidates are calculated as per the procedure given below:

1. The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying the penalty for the wrong answer.
2. The corrected scores obtained by candidates are made equivalent to adjust the differences in the difficulty level since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts to arrive at the equated scores.
3. Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms.
4. Final scores in each test are rounded off to up to two digits after the decimal point.
5. 1/4 marks are deducted for wrong answers.
