UPSC Geo-Scientists and Geologist Exam Result 2020 - Steps to Check
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result for the written phase (Mains) of the Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination 2020. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website of UPSC. The written examination was conducted from 17th October and 19th October 2020. Name-wise and roll number-wise lists have been uploaded on the official website.
Steps to check the UPSC Geo-Scientists and Geologist Exam Result 2020
- Visit the official website - https://upsc.gov.in/.
- Look for the ‘What’s New’ section.
- Click on the ‘Written Result: Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination, 2020’ link. The name-wise list of the qualified candidates is also released. Click on the link ‘Written Result (with name): Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination, 2020’ to check the name-wise list.
- Click on the PDF link.
- Find your roll number/ name on the list. Separate lists are provided for geologists, hydrogeologists, geophysicists, and chemists posts.
UPSC Geo-Scientist Mains 2020 Provisional Result has been uploaded in the form of PDF. All selected candidates would be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claim relating to age, educational qualifications, community, physical disability etc. at the time of the Personality Test.
UPSC Geo-Scientists Detailed Application Form (DAF) 2020
Candidates who have cleared the written examination are eligible for the personality test/ interview. Document verification will be done at the time of the interview. Thus, candidates must carry original certificates for educational qualification, physical disability, age proof, etc.
Eligible candidates are required to fill the online Detailed Application Form (DAF) for appearing in the interview. The application form will be available on the official website from 14th to 24th December 2020. Schedule of interviews of candidates, who have qualified for the personality test will be notified in due course of time on the Commission’s Website.
UPSC Geo-Scientists and Geologist Exam Marksheets
The mark-sheets of candidates who have not qualified, will be uploaded on the commission’s website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result (after conducting Personality Test) and will remain available on the website for a period of 60 days. The candidates can access the marks-sheet after entering their roll numbers and date of birth.
Facilitation Counter
The official notice states; “Union Public Service Commission has a Facilitation Counter at its Campus. A candidate may obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/result on working days between 10.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M in person or over telephone Nos. (011)-23385271/23381125/23098543 from this counter.”
