NTA Rescheduled CMAT 2019 Exam for Srinagar Region Candidates

25^th January 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2019 dates for candidates from the Srinagar region. The exam has been postponed “due to the closing of the Srinagar-Jammu Highway on account of snowfall and landslides.” The examination has been rescheduled for only 187 candidates.

Here is what the official notification states, “Due to the closing of the Srinagar-Jammu Highway on account of snowfall and landslides, the Common Management Admission Test, 2019 (CMAT-2019) is rescheduled to 29.01.2019 (09:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m) only for affected candidates belonging to Srinagar (187 candidates of Srinagar region who were allotted Examination Centre in Jammu), on request of the local Administration of Srinagar.”

These candidates will get the examination centres in Srinagar only and the details of the examination centres will be informed to the candidates through Email/SMS by 27^th January 2019. Candidates must keep a check of the official CMAT website – ntacmat.nic.in – for any further updates in the matter.

CMAT 2019 Exam Date (after Reschedule)

Please Note – There is no change in the examination schedule for other candidates. The examination will be conducted on 28^th January 2019. The Agency will also be conducting the GPAT exam on the same date. Check out NTA’s notice for the conduct of exam here.

About CMAT

CMAT is a national level entrance examination conducted for admission to various management programs. Till 2018, the exam was conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year.

It is a Computer Based Test (CBT) which is conducted in a single shift. Questions are asked from the sections viz. Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness.
