UPSEE Merit List 2019 - Toppers, Inter-se-Merit Criteria, and Seat Allotment

The Merit list for the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2019 will be released after the result declaration. And, the result for the UPSEE 2019 has been announced by the A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) on 3rd June 2019. The link for checking the exam scores is active at the official website and candidates who have appeared for the entrance examination conducted on 21st April can check their scores using their login credentials. UPSEE result/scorecard will contain details of the candidate’s subject-wise score and total score. The merit list will be released soon. UPSEE Merit List 2019

The merit list will be prepared by AKTU on the basis of scores secured by the candidates in the exam. Separate merit lists will be prepared for all the courses viz. B.Tech., B.Arch., B.Pharm, B.Des, BFAD, BHMCT, BFA, M.Tech., MBA, M.Pharm, M.Arch., M.Des. and others. The merit list will also be categorised on the basis of categories (UR, SC, ST, etc.). The merit lists for the UPSEE 2019 exam will be released soon. Candidates who qualify the exam and make to the merit list will be called for the counselling process.

Inter-se-Merit Criteria

In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in the exam, their inter-se-merit is determined on the basis of the following:

1. Firstly, the candidate who has less percentage of incorrect responses will be placed higher in the merit list.
2. If the above criteria also matches, the following is considered:

3. For B.Tech., B.Pharm, B.Arch curses if the above conditions also result in a tie, the candidate with higher age will be placed higher in the merit list.

4. At last, the lowest application number will be placed higher in the merit list.

UPSEE Counselling 2019

The counselling process will begin after the release of the merit list. The official counselling schedule is not yet released. The counselling process will tentatively begin in the month of June and will continue till July. UPSEE counselling is conducted in three rounds. The tentative counselling schedule is available on the basis of the previous year’s schedule.

UPSEE 2019 Seat Allotment

The seat allotment process will be carried out strictly on the basis of the UPSEE 2019 merit, candidate’s preferences, and availability of seats. Once the seat is allotted and accepted by the candidate, no further changes will be admissible in the Institution/Branch.
