AICTE Revised Academic Calendar for 2020-21 Sessions, Classes from 15th July

AICTE have come up the revised academic calendar for technical and professional training institutes. Check latest updates.

06th July 2020: After the postponement of NEET UG and JEE Main 2020 examination, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has joined the league and released a revised Academic Calendar for technical and professional training institutes. The AICTE revised academic calendar for 2020-21 has confirmed that the classes for PGCM and PGDM existing students in all affiliated higher education institutes and colleges will begin from 15th July 2020. While, classes for newly admitted students of colleges and institutes will start from 16th August 2020.

The changes made in the academic calendar for technical and professional institutes are being done in wake of the current prevailing situation in the country due to COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates can check the detailed notice at aicte-india.org.

Academic Session for New Admissions

According to the AICTE revised Academic Calendar, the new academic session for freshly admitted students in colleges and institutes will commence from 1st August 2020 and will continue until 31st July 2021. On the other hand, the academic session and teaching process, including lateral entry to second-year courses, will start from 15th September.

More than this, students have an opportunity to cancel the seats allotted to them on or before 5th August 2020 for PGCM and PGDM courses with full refund. For open learning and distance education courses will admit students in between 16th August 2020 to 15th February 2021.
