Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE – formerly known as Manipal University) has released the MAHE online application forms for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2022. The MAHE has released the application forms on the official website on 9th December 2021. The exam is conducted for admission in UG and PG courses. Courses that are offered at the institution are engineering, Pharmacy, and Applied Sciences. Admission to Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim, and Manipal University, Jaipur will also be based on the MET score. Changes in the MET (MU OET) 2022 Application Process -
- Candidates can select only one preference for the test city while filling out the MET application form.
- Payment of fees can be done only through the online mode. Application fees through Demand Draft or any other mode will not be accepted.
- Registration can be done only through email Id, mobile number and password.

MET 2022 Pattern & Syllabus

The examination will be of 2 hours 30 minutes duration comprising of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) distributed as under:

MET 2022 Eligibility
Candidates should make sure that they meet the following eligibility criteria before appearing for the exam.
Age Limit
There is no minimum age limit for admission.
Educational Qualification
Educational qualification is different for admission into different courses. Here are the required criteria for some of the courses:
For B.Tech.
Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the other subjects.
Candidates should have studied Mathematics, Physics, and English as mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam. Optional subjects include Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or other technical subjects.
For M.Tech.
Candidates should have B.Tech./BE or any other equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
For BBA
Candidates should have passed class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks.
Minimum Marks in the MET Exam
Candidates should have scored at least 50% marks in the MET exam to become eligible for the counselling process.
MET 2022 Application Process
The MET 2022 application form is available on the official website from 9th December 2021. The last date to fill out the form is 15th March 2022. Candidates are required to follow the below mentioned steps to complete the application process:
- Go to the official website - https://manipal.edu
- Click on the ‘APPLY NOW’ tab on the top right corner of the home page.
- You will be redirected to the ‘MAHE Online Application Form’ page.
- Enter your email address, select country, enter the mobile number and choose a password under the ‘Register’ section. Click on the ‘Register & Continue’ button. Please note that there will be no option to edit the email id, password, and mobile number.
- Once the registration is done, log in to complete the form.
- Enter your personal details, address, educational qualifications, scanned image of photograph and signature.
- Select the course you are interested in and the exam centre.
- Make the fee payment using net banking, credit card, debit card, Paytm and mobile wallets. The application fee is the same for all category students.
- After completing the application form, take a printout of the same.

All category candidates are required to pay the same fee. The application fee can be paid only through online mode using internet banking, credit card, debit card, and other online payment methods.
MET 2022 Other Details
MET 2022 Slot Booking
Once a candidate has submitted the application form, they are required to book their slots for the examination where they are required to select the date, time and center for the examination. The slot booking is done on a first-come-first-serve basis i.e. no bookings can be made on a slot if it gets filled.
Procedure for Slot Booking
Candidates are required to follow the steps mentioned below for the booking slot:
- Visit the candidate’s log-in portal on the official website and log in using your application number and password.
- You will be redirected to your profile. Click on ‘Book a seat’ option.
- Now, fill out the slot booking form and select a slot for the entrance examination from the given slots.
- If you are sure about the exam dates you have selected, give confirmation for the selected slots. No changes will be allowed in the examination slots once saved successfully.
Once the slot booking is complete, admit cards/hall tickets will generate. However, candidates can download the same only after 24 hours of slot booking.
MET 2022 Admit Card
MET 2022 admit cards can be downloaded 24 hours after the slot booking process gets over. Candidates are required to take a print of the admit card and paste their photograph at the space provided and sign the admit card. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website. The MET 2022 Admit Card or Hall Ticket will contain the below mentioned details:
- Name of the candidate
- MET e-hall ticket number
- MET 2022 application number
- Exam date
- Exam time
- Reporting time
- Address of exam venue

- Other general instructions

MET 2022 Answer Key
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will not provide the answer key for the MET 2022 examination. If the University decides to release the answer keys, they will be accessible through the official exam page.
MET 2022 Result
MU OET/MET 2022 result will be declared tentatively in May 2022. The result will be available on the official website. The merit list/rank list will be released after the declaration of the result. Subject-wise rank list and All India rank list will be made available on the official website.

MET 2022 Cut Off
MET 2022 cut-off is the minimum mark required to qualify for the entrance examination and get admission in the courses offered by the University. After the declaration of the MET result, the cut-off will be announced. The MET (MU OET) cut-off varies among different courses and different institutes. The difficulty level of the examination, number of applicants, seat intake, and student preference are some of the factors determining the cut-off. MET 2022 Counselling
Candidates who secured the minimum cut-off marks and have met the eligibility criteria are called for counselling sessions. Most likely the MET 2022 counselling process will start from the last week of June 2022. Candidates have to register for the counselling process. Candidates should be present at the respective venue for the counselling process. The reporting time, date, and venue of the counselling will be notified to all the candidates.

After document verification and seat allotment, candidates will pay a part of the course fee and get the provisional admission letter. Candidates who wish to change the allotted seat or who have not been allotted any seat in the first round have to wait for the waiting list. Candidates to whom the seat has been allotted are required to report at the allotted college on the date and time mentioned. Do carry the admission letter.

No, there are no reserved seats, management quota, or payment seats of any kind. Admission to the University can be secured only through the merit obtained in the MET 2022 entrance test.
