Kerala ITI Admission 2022 Eligibility

Nationality and Domicile

Must be an Indian citizen with the domicile of Kerala state.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for ITI admission must be 14 years. There is no upper age limit.

Qualification

Must have passed class 8th/ 10th or 12th (as per the trades opted) from a recognised board with minimum 35% marks in the final examination.

Kerala ITI Admission 2022 Application Process

Candidates are required to submit the applications for Kerala ITI 2022 admission through online mode. The application form will be available on the official website. Candidates need to fill only a single application form even for multiple trades. Here are the steps to be followed for filling out the application form:

Keep the scanned images of passport size photographs and signatures ready in the prescribed format.

Steps for Filling the Kerala ITI Application Form

• Visit the official website at det.kerala.gov.in.
• Click on the ‘Apply Now’ option under the ‘ITI Admissions 2022’ menu.
• Click again on the link for the application.
• The application form will appear on the screen. Fill in the required details for completing the registration process.
• After successful registration, log in again using the credentials to complete the application process.
• Provide the remaining personal details, educational qualifications, address details, ITI trades preference, etc.
• Upload the scanned images and make the application fee payment.
• After successful fee payment, take a print of the completed application form.

Note: There is no need to send the printed copy of the application form to the exam conducting authority.

Kerala ITI 2022 Admission Merit List

The merit list for Kerala ITI admission can be checked at the official website. The list is prepared based on the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam. Those who make it to the merit list must participate in the counselling process to complete the admission.

Kerala ITI 2022 - Counselling Process

The counselling process for Kerala ITI 2022 will be organized online. It is mandatory for candidates to participate in the counselling process as per the prescribed schedule in order to secure a seat in ITI. Candidates are required to fill the choices for trades and ITIs. Seat allotment will be done based on the merit rank and choices filled by the candidate. Candidates are then required to report at the allotted college for document verification and other admission formalities. The candidature of those who failed to participate in the counselling process will be cancelled.
