PECE exam is conducted through offline mode where 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked from the following sections:

Language of Question Paper - Hindi and English

Duration - 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes)

Marking Scheme - 1 mark will be awarded for every correct response and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.

The JCECE Board sets the Jharkhand Polytechnic syllabus based on the class 10th level topics from subjects - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The syllabus is prescribed after considering the state board and CBSE board curriculum. Here are the topics.

Physics - Measurement, Laws of Motion, Kinetics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Work, Power, and Energy, Thermodynamics, Heat and Thermal Expansion, Gravitation, Rotatory Motion of a Rigid Body, Simple Harmonic Motion, Reflection of Light, Refraction of Light, Hydrostatics, Optical Instruments, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Wave Motion, Transmission of Heat, Electromagnetism, Electromagnetic Induction.

Chemistry - Elements, Molecular and Equivalent Masses, Mixtures and Compounds, Group Elements, Electrochemistry, Important Chemical Compounds, Acids, Bases, Salt, and Hydrolysis, Different Chemical Reactions, Catalysis, Periodic Classification of Elements, Law of Chemical Combination and Gas Laws, Atomic Structure, Concept of Atomic, Valency, Polymers, Hydrocarbons, Detergents, Drugs, and Explosives.

Jharkhand Polytechnic Exam 2023 Eligibility

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the Jharkhand PECE application form.

Nationality - Only citizens of India are eligible to apply.

Domicile - Candidates must have Jharkhand’s domicile.

Education Qualification

• Candidates must have passed the class 10th examination or equivalent from a recognized Board with a minimum of 35% marks.
• Those appearing for the class 10th examination or waiting for the result are also eligible to apply for the exam. However, such candidates secure the minimum qualifying marks to be considered for admission.

Age Limit - There is no age limit for the exam. Those applying for mining engineering must be between 17 and 20 years of age.

Jharkhand Polytechnic 2023 Admit Card

Admit cards for the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2023 will be made available online at the official website. Candidates will be able to download the admit cards using their login credentials. It will contain details of exam time, venue, instructions, etc. JCECE admit card is mandatory for appearing in the exam. Those without admit cards will not be allowed inside the examination center.

Jharkhand Polytechnic 2023 Result

The Jharkhand Polytechnic result 2023 will be announced 15 days after the exam if the previous trends are followed. The result is uploaded on the official website, and candidates can check the same using their roll number. Based on the marks secured by candidates, a merit list is prepared.
