UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam or UP Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic) (UPJEE (P)) is also known as Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP). It is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council (Sanyukt Pravesh Pariksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh). UP Polytechnic 2022 Pattern & Syllabus
Here are the details on the UP Polytechnic exam pattern:
- Mode of Examination: The exam is conducted in the offline mode for Group A (Engineering/ Technology courses) and in Computer Based Mode for other courses.
- Type of Questions: Objective type questions are asked in the exam.
- Number of Questions: Each group has only one paper with 100 questions.
- The language of Question Paper: All question papers will be in two languages – Hindi and English.

UP Polytechnic 2022 Eligibility
Age Limit
The minimum age limit of the applicant should be 14 years as of 1st July of the year of examination. If the exam is being conducted in the year 2022, the minimum age of the candidate should be 14 years as of 1st July 2022.
State Eligibility
Candidates of UP domicile will be given preference over non-UP domicile candidates. A UP domicile candidate is the one who meets any one of the following conditions:
- Parents have UP domicile.
- Candidates have passed the qualifying exam from UP.
- Any of the parents is an employee of the Central Government and is posted in UP.

UP Polytechnic 2022 Application Process
The application window for JEECUP 2022 is open from 15th February 2022 and will remain active till 31st May 2022. Interested candidates can visit the official website to complete the application process. Here are the steps:
How to Apply for UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2022?
- Candidates can apply for the exam online through the official website - https://jeecup.admissions.nic.in/.
- Go to the website and click on the “Apply” link.
- Register for the exam, and you will receive an ID and password.
- Log in with the registered ID and password and complete the application form. Details such as the Aadhaar number, parents’ name, DOB, gender, category, contact details, qualification details, etc. are asked in the application form.
- Candidates are also required to upload scanned images of their photographs and signature.
- Make application fee payments to complete the process.
- You can take a printout of the filled-in application form for future references.
