Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination (JEECE) is a state-level engineering entrance exam conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board (JCECEB). The exam offers admission to engineering programmes offered by various engineering colleges in the state. Candidates need to clear the JEECE for seeking a seat in the engineering courses. It must be noted that this exam is only for admission to B.Tech. courses in Agriculture and Dairy Technology. Admission to other B.Tech Programmes is done through JEE Main score. JEECE Exam 2022 Eligibility
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria before applying for the exam:
Nationality
The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Domicile
Candidates must have a domicile in Jharkhand state.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit is 17 years and the maximum is 22 years.
Educational Qualification
Candidate should have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized board. Those appearing in the final examination of class 12th are also eligible for the exam.
The minimum marks required in the qualifying exam should be 45% for General category candidates and 40% for reserved category candidates.
JEECE Exam 2022 Application Process
Candidates who are interested in taking admission in B.Tech. programs in Jharkhand state are required to apply for the JEECE 2022 exam. The application process will tentatively begin in the third week of April 2022. Candidates must submit their applications before the last date. The application process is online and candidates must submit the form only through the official website.
Steps to fill the JEECE 2022 Application Form
- Visit the JEECE official website.
- Click on the link to apply for the ‘JEECE 2022’.
- Complete the registration process and you will receive a registration/ application number.
- Use the registration number and password to log in and complete the application process.
- Provide personal, educational, contact details, exam center choices, etc.
- Upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, left thumb impression, etc. as per the specifications. Images should be in JPEG format. The file size must be as:
- 100 KB for Photograph
- 50 KB for Signature
- 50 KB for Left-Thumb Impression
- Make fee payment and submit the form.
- Once the form is submitted successfully, take a print.
Application Fee
The application fee is to be paid as per the category. Here are the details:
- For General/ BC-1/BC-2 category - ₹ 900/-
- For SC/ST/ Female category - ₹ 450/-
The application fee can be paid through credit card/ debit card/ net banking. Candidates must note that the application fee is non-refundable.

JEECE 2022 Admit Card
The JEECE 2022 admit card will be released in the second week of May 2022 on the official website. Candidates can download the admit card using their login details.

The board will also release the JEECE answer key on the official website. Candidates can check the same at the official website within 15-20 days of the exam. They can also submit representations against the answer key if they found any answer wrong. For this, they must log in to their respective profiles and select the answer for submitting objections. Pay the required fee and submit your representation. The updated answer key will be released along with the result.

JEECE 2022 Counselling
