JCECE 2022 Pattern & Syllabus

JCECE 2022 Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in online mode as a Computer Based Test (CBT). Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked from the following sections:

For PCMB Group

Duration: 3 hours

Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for correct response and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.

JCECE 2022 syllabus will be based on the class 12th level syllabus. Topics for different subjects are as under:

Physical World and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy, and Power, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Properties of Bulk Matter, Gravitation, Oscillations and Waves, Behaviour of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Current Electricity, Electromagnetic and Alternating Currents, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Atoms & Nuclei, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Electronic Devices, Thermodynamics.

Chemistry

Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Solid State, Solutions, Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, State of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Equilibrium, Thermodynamics, Hydrogen, Redox Reactions, Hydrogen, s-block elements (Alkali and Alkaline Earth Metals), p-block elements, d and f block elements, Alcohols, Phenols, and Ethers, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Biomolecules, Organic Compounds containing Nitrogen, Polymers, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Environmental Chemistry.

JCECE 2022 Eligibility

Here are the eligibility criteria for the JCECE 2022 exam:

Nationality and Domicile

• Candidates must be a citizen of India.
• Candidates must have a local residential certificate/ permanent Jharkhand state. 

Age Criteria

• Minimum age limit - 17 years
• Maximum age limit (B.V. Sc. & A.H and B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture and B.Sc (Hons) Forestry) - 22 years

JCECE 2022 Application Process

Applications for the JCECE 2022 will be accepted through online mode. Applications submitted through any other mode will be rejected. Candidates are advised to submit their applications well in time. Here are the steps to be followed.

Steps for Filling the JCECE 2022 Application Form

The application process can be completed in the following stages:

Registration

• Visit the official website at https://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/ and click the JCECE 2022 exam link.
• Click on the new registration option and enter the details asked. Submit the details.
• On successful registration, an email message will be sent to your registered ID.
• Click the link in the email message to verify and enter the login credentials to proceed with the application process.

Filling the Application Form

• After login, fill out the application form with details such as nationality, category, gender, educational qualification, address, etc.
• Check all the details carefully and move to the next step.

Document Upload

• Upload the required documents as per the specification. Documents are to be uploaded at their allotted space.

Fee Payment

• After successfully uploading the documents you will be redirected to the fee payment page.
• Select the mode of payment and make the payment as per your category.
• After successful fee payment, take a print of the confirmation page.

JCECE Application Fee

JCECE 2022 application fee is to be paid only through online mode using debit card/ credit card/ online banking. Category-wise fee details are as under:

JCECE 2022 Other Details

JCECE 2022 Admit Card

JCECE 2022 Admit Card will be released online on the official website. Candidates are required to download the same using their login credentials. The admit card contains details such as name, photograph, signature, exam date, timing, venue, instructions, etc. It is a mandatory document for appearing in the exam. Candidates are advised to keep it safe till the admission process is over.

JCECE 2022 Result

JCECE 2022 results will be uploaded online at the official website. Candidates will be able to check their scores using the login details. A separate merit list will also be prepared for different courses based on the marks secured by the candidates. Those who make it to the merit list will be called for the counselling process.

JCECE 2022 Counselling

The JCECE 2022 counselling process will be conducted online where candidates are required to complete the registration, fill their choices and lock the same The seat allotment will be done through online mode. Candidates are required to report at the allotted college with all the required documents (for document verification) for completing the admission formalities.
