The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is entitled to the responsibilities of administering the Common Recruitment Process for a wide range of posts. Here, we are covering the process for the clerical post. The Institute has announced the CRP Clerk-XII phase for 2022-23 vacancies. The institute will be conducting the IBPS Clerk 2022 exam in two tiers – Preliminary and Main. Eligible candidates who aspire to join the participating organisations (mentioned below) for the Clerical cadre need to clear both stages. - The official notification for the IBPS clerk 2022 recruitment was released on 30th June 2022.
- The Application Process starts on 1st July 2022 and the last date for registration is 21st July 2022
- IBPS Clerk XI Preliminary exam is scheduled for 28th August, 03rd & 04th September 2022.

IBPS Clerk: New Changes Introduced
New changes were introduced in the exam w.e.f the year 2020. Please note that some of these changes are only for the COVID-19 situation.
- The number of participating banks reduced from 17 to 11 due to the merger of various banks.
- The application fees have been hiked across categories.

IBPS Clerk 2022 Pattern & Syllabus
As already mentioned above, the exam will be held in two tiers – Preliminary and Main. Failing in the prelims will put you out of the race. Hence, it is important to understand the pattern of the IBPS Clerk 2022 exam. The below-mentioned tests except the English Language Test will be available in Hindi and English. For the wrong answers, there will be a penalty. One-fourth (1/4th or 0.25) of the total marks allotted to the question will be deducted for every incorrect answer. In the case of unanswered questions, there will be no deduction.

Applying for IBPS CRP Clerks-XII? It is mandatory to check the eligibility before applying for the IBPS Clerk 2022 exam.
Nationality –
- Must be a citizen of India
- The candidate should be a subject of Nepal, Bhutan or Tibetan Refugee who migrated to India before 01.01.1962 to settle down permanently
- He must be a PIO (Person with Indian Origin) migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Zaire, the United Republic of Tanzania, Ethiopia, Vietnam and Zambia with an intention to settle down permanently in India
Academic Qualification –
- Must be a graduate from a recognised University or equivalent
- Must possess the mark sheet or certificate
- Must have expertise in computer
- Proficiency in the local language of a particular state or union territory (that means the candidates can speak, write and read the official language of the particular region)
- Ex-servicemen should at least have the Army Special Certificate of Education

IBPS Clerk 2022 Application Process
The application process for the Common Recruitment Process 2022 started on 1st July 2022.
Step to Fill IBPS Clerk Application Form 2022 -
- Visit the authorized website of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.
- Select the “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- Clerks (CRP-Clerks-XII)” link.
- Now click “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION”
- Provide basic details like the name of the candidate, email ID, mobile number, etc. and click on the register button.
- System-generated log-in credentials will be sent on the registered email ID and mobile number
- It will carry the Provisional Registration Number and Password
- Use the credentials to fill in the particulars and submit the form
- Upload the digital images of the photograph, signature, handwritten declaration, and left-thumb impression
- Release the payment using the credit card, debit card and net banking
- Hit the ‘Submit’ button once all the fields are filled

IBPS Clerk 2022 Admit Card
The call letters for IBPS Clerk 2022 (Preliminary exam) will release in August 2022. Candidates can download the same from the official website of IBPS. To download IBPS Clerk 2022 admit card from the official website, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The admit cards will be released separately for the Preliminary and Main phase examination.

Candidates should keep the following details handy to download the admit card
- Registration number/Roll number: The registration number is generated after candidates successfully register for the exam
- Date of birth/Password: The date of birth should be the same as entered in the application form

IBPS Clerk 2022 Pre-Examination Training Cities
The pre-exam training will be arranged by the Nodal Banks or Participating Organisations to a certain number of candidates belonging to the SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen Minority Communities and PWD candidates at the underneath centres –

IBPS Clerk 2022 Result
Soon after the commencement of the Online Exam (Preliminary and Main), the IBPS Clerk result 2022 will be declared. Separate results will be declared for the Preliminary and Main phase examinations. The final result will be prepared based on the marks scored by the candidate in the Main exam. The Preliminary exam result will be announced in December 2022/ January 2023 and the Main exam results in April 2023. The final allotment will be done in April 2023.
IBPS Clerk 2022 cut-off
The cut-off is the minimum marks required to clear the exam. It is predefined by the exam conducting authority. The IBPS Clerk 2022 cut-off marks vary every year. The cut-off depends upon the number of applicants, the number of vacancies, and the level of competition in the exam.
