IIITH UGEE Exam 2023 Important Dates

The tentative schedule for IIITH UGEE 2023 exam is as under:

IIITH UGEE Exam 2023 Pattern & Syllabus

Admission to the institutes will be done based on the entrance exam score and interview performance. The entrance exam (UGEE) will be conducted in two parts:

1. Part/ Section 1 - Subject Proficiency Test
2. Part/ Section 2 - Research Aptitude Test

All the questions will be of Multiple Choice type. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours (1 hour for Section-1 and 2 hours for Section-2). The exam will be conducted through computer-based mode. Thus, in detail the UGEEE exam will be of the following format:

Both sections will have questions from the same subjects. However, section-I will test the subject knowledge while Section II will test creative and critical thinking.

IIITH UGEE 2023 Syllabus

As per the official website, the syllabus for both sections will be the same as per the CBSE syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of Class XI and XII. So, candidates must stick to their class XI and XII syllabus.

IIITH UGEE Exam 2023 Eligibility

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before moving ahead with the application process:

• Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognised state or central board with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. The minimum aggregate marks should be 60%.

IIITH UGEE Exam 2023 Application Process

The application form for the IIITH UGEE 2023 exam has been released on 6th February 2023 and will remain available till 31st March 2023. Candidates interested in pursuing the dual-degree course must submit their applications before the last date of submission. The steps to complete the application process are as under:

• Visit the official website.
• Click on the link for registration.
• Enter the basic details asked for such as name, mobile number, email ID, etc. for completing the registration process.
• On successful registration, you will receive a registration Id and password at your registered email ID.
• Login using the registration number and password.
• Provide details such as personal, education, contact details, etc.
• After completing the form, move to the fee payment section.
• Pay the fee through any mode of payment.
• After successful fee payment, submit the application form.
• Take a print of the confirmation page for future reference.

The application fee for the UGEE exam is ₹ 2000/-. Candidates must note that the application fee is non-refundable.

IIITH UGEE 2023 Admit Card

The IIITH UGEE 2023 admit card will be released after the slot booking process. Candidates who have successfully submitted the application form can download the admit card from the official website using their login details. Admit card is mandatory to carry to the examination center for making entry to the examination hall. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without an admit card. Details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam time, day, and center, etc. are mentioned on the admit card. If candidates find any error in the details, they must inform IIIT Hyderabad.

IIITH UGEE 2023 Result

IIITH UGEE 2023 result will be released on the official website. Candidates can check the same using their login ID and password. Those who clear the UGEE exam will be called for the interview round. A rank/ merit list will be prepared after the interview round based on the candidates’ performance in the exam and the interview.

IIITH UGEE Exam 2023 Counselling

IIIT Hyderabad will conduct the counselling process through online mode for allotting seats to the qualified candidates. The seats will be allotted on the basis of the merit list and preference given by the candidates. Candidates are required to confirm the allotted seat by paying a specified amount of the fee. The counselling process is conducted in multiple rounds.
