IGRUA Exam 2022 Pattern & Syllabus
IGRUA Exam 2022 Pattern
The selection procedure for the CPL course includes:
- Online written test
- Viva/Interview
- Pilot Aptitude Test/Psychometric Test
The online written test has five sections:
- English
- Physics
- Mathematics
- General Awareness
- Reasoning
10+2 level objective type questions are asked from these sections. There is no negative marking.
Students who qualify the written exam are called for interview/viva round. At the time of the interview, candidates are required to carry the following documents in original along with one photocopy of each document:
- Date of birth proof (class 10th certificate)
- Mark sheet of class 10th
- Mark sheet of class 12th
- Admit Card of Written Test
- Caste certificate by candidates belonging to reserve category
- A certificate stating that the OBC candidate doesn’t belong to the creamy layer.
Further, those candidates who clear their interview as well are finally required to take up the pilot aptitude test. Successful candidates in the Pilot Aptitude Test/Psychometric Test qualify for final selection. All the selected candidates are required to pay the commitment money of ₹ 2 Lacs (non-refundable but adjustable against the total course fee).

IGRUA Exam 2022 Eligibility
Before applying for IGRUA 2022 exam, it is important for candidates to check the eligibility criteria carefully. Here are the details:
- Candidates should have passed a minimum of 10+2 level of education with English, Maths, and Physics subjects. The minimum aggregate marks in Maths and Physics should be 55% for General category candidates and 50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates (non-creamy layer).
- The minimum age of the candidate at the time of joining the course shall be 17 years.

IGRUA Exam 2022 Application Process
Candidates can apply online only through the official website. However, before applying for the exam, get the following ready:
- Scanned image of the recent coloured photograph in JPEG/JPG format with the maximum file size of 80 KB.
- Scanned image of candidate’s signature (maximum file size – 80 KB)
- Active mobile number
- Valid Email Id

- Visit the official website; http://www.igrua.gov.in
- Select a language.
- You will be redirected to the About Us page.
- Scroll down and look for the ‘Notifications’ section on the right side.
- In this section, click on the “Entrance 2022 Announced!” link.
- Click on the ‘Sign in for Registration’ button and complete the registration process.
- Once you receive the registration ID and Password, sign in and complete the application form with image upload and fee payment steps.

IGRUA Exam 2022 Other Details
IGRUA 2022 Admit Card
Candidates can download the admit card for the online written test from the official website of IGRUA from the second week of May 2022 onwards. Admit cards are your entry tickets for the written test. Also, the admit card is to be produced at the time of the interview as proof of identity. So, candidates are advised to preserve their admit cards till joining. The admit card will include the candidate’s basic details along with the information on the examination venue.

Course/Training Fee structure
The course for Commercial Pilot License is of a minimum of 18 months duration (which may be extended). The fee structure for the course is as follows:
- The total fee for the training is ₹ 38,00,000 (approval is pending for revision of fee to 40 lacs). The fee amount can be paid in 4 quarterly instalments in a year.
- An additional expense of approximately ₹ 1,50,000 can be estimated for uniforms, study materials, headphones, navigation computer etc.
