The selection process for the Executive post in IDBI comprises:

• Online test
• Document Verification
• Pre Recruitment Medical Test

The pattern for the online test is as under:

Marking Scheme - Each question will be 1 mark and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect option.

Language of Question Paper - English and Hindi (except for the English test)

Candidates who qualify for the online test will be called for the Document Verification and Pre-Recruitment Medical Test. As per the official notification; “The final selection or offer of employment would be made based on applicant’s marks in the online test, being found medically fit and subject to fulfillment of all other eligibility criteria.”

IDBI Executives Recruitment 2022 Syllabus

IDBI doesn’t prescribe any syllabus for the online test. The common topics asked in the previous years’ exam are as follows:

Syllabus for Reasoning - Input-Output, Seating Arrangement, Logical Reasoning, Data Sufficiency, Puzzles, Syllogism, Inequality, Blood Relations, Order and Ranking, etc.

Syllabus for the English Language - Reading Comprehension, Spotting Errors, Sentence Improvement/ Correction, Para Jumbles, Sentence Formation, Cloze Test.

Syllabus for Quantitative Aptitude - Number Series, Quadratic Equations, Simplification/ Approximation, Data Interpretation, Miscellaneous Topics.

IDBI Bank Executives Recruitment 2022 Eligibility

Candidates are required to check the eligibility conditions for the exam before filling out the application form. Here are the eligibility conditions:

Nationality

Applicant must be either:

• A citizen of India
• A subject of Bhutan
• A subject of Nepal
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India.
• A person of Indian origin who migrated from Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire, and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India

Age Limit (as of 1st March 2022)

• Minimum age limit - 20 years
• Maximum age limit - 25years

In other words, the applicant must have been born not earlier than 2nd March 1997 and not later than 1st March 2002 (both dates inclusive).

Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to reserved category candidates as under:

Educational Qualifications

• Passed graduation (any discipline) from a recognized University with a minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/ PwD categories).
• Those who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible for the exam, provided they are required to submit their proof of passing the exam on or before a specified date if called for Document Verification and Pre-Recruitment Medical Test.
• Applicants are also expected to have proficiency in Computers.

Pre-Examination Training (PET) for IDBI Executives Recruitment 2022

To comply with the Government Guidelines, IDBI provided free non-residential Pre-Examination Training (PET) for applicants belonging to OBC/ SC/ ST categories. Candidates are required to make their arrangements for travel and stay. The training will be provided for 6 consecutive days before the exam. The exact dates will be intimated when the official notification will be released. Candidates are required to indicate their choice for PET while filling out the application form. Those who don’t opt for PET will not be called for the same. A call letter will be issued for PET through the official website.
