HPTET 2022 Exam Highlights -
- The Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 is an offline Pen-paper based exam that consists of objective-type questions.
- The exam paper will have a sum total of 150 questions which will be completed within the duration of 2 hours 30 minutes
- Talking about the marking scheme of the HPTET 2022 exam, an apprentice will get a +1 mark for every correct answer. However, no marks will be deducted for any incorrect answer.
- In order to clear the exam, a participant must obtain a minimum aggregate score of 60% marks.

HPTET Exam 2022 Eligibility
The HPTET 2022 exam is conducted for the major 8 streams, like- Shastri TET, Language Teacher (English/Hindi/Urdu), JBT, TGT (Medical/Non-Medical/Arts), and others. HPTET Exam 2022 Application Process
Students who are willing to work as a teacher in different subjects in a government or private sector school can send their entries for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) 2022 online. The application form for the June session is available on the official website.
Steps to apply online for the HPTET 2022 exam -
- Open the official website for HPTET 2022 Exam.
- Click on the ‘TET (June-2022)’ option under the ‘CET/Vacancies’ menu.
- Click on the ‘Register’ link.
- Fill in your personal information and other details without making any errors.
- Once you have filled the form, upload the scanned images of important documents viz. Photograph and signature.
- Now pay the requested fee amount and submit your application.
- Take a printout of your filled application form and keep it safe for future reference.
Note: Students have to fill and submit their application form through an online medium only. No other medium shall be acceptable for application submission. The specification for the photograph and signature are as follows:

HP TET 2022 Application Form – Important Points
- Candidates should fill their subject, category and sub-category in the online form carefully.
- Candidates should fill in their name, date of birth, parents’ names etc as per their Class X certificate.
- Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form for one subject.
- Candidates planning to appear for more than one subject need to fill out a separate application form and pay a separate application fee.
- Application forms submitted through any other medium (fax, post, etc.) will be rejected.
- Candidates should retain the application number as it will be used in all the subsequent account logins.

Eligible aspirants can pay their requested amount through the online mode by using the Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking option. HPTET Exam 2022 Other Details
HPTET Selection Process 2022
The process of selection is based on applicants’ performance in the HPTET exam organized by the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education. Candidates who clear the exam are issued the HP TET certificate based on which they can apply for teachers’ jobs in Himachal Pradesh schools.
HPTET Admit Card 2022
HPTET Admit cards will be made available online, at the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) official website. Candidates who have registered for the HP TET examination 2022 can now download their admit card online at hpbose.org using the log-in details. Students must remember that they have to download the admit card from the official website only as no physical admit card will be sent to their residential address.
How to download HP TET admit card 2022?
- Visit the official website at hpbose.org
- On the homepage, go to the “CET/Vacancies” and click on “TET-Jun 2022”
- Click on the link that reads, “Click here to Download Admit Cards ( TGT (Arts), TGT (Medical), PUNJABI, URDU, JBT, Shastri, TGT (Non-Medical), L.T Subjects) TET-JUNE 2022”
- A new page will appear on the display screen
- Key in your credentials and login
- The HP TET admit card 2022 for the June session will be displayed on the screen

HPTET Exam Center and Guidelines For Test
The HPTET 2022 exam was conducted at 69 exam locations within the state. The exam centers for the 2022 exam will be notified through the official information bulletin. Applicants are given a chance to choose their exam city as per their preference while filling out the application form. Once the test center has been allotted to the candidate, it cannot be changed.
Exam Day Guidelines
- Candidates must not forget to carry their admit card.
- Along with the admit card, candidates should also carry a valid and original photo ID proof such as a passport, Aadhar card, etc.
- Candidates should reach the allotted HP TET exam center at least two hours before the commencement of the exam.
- Candidates should carry a minimum of two ball-point pens of black and blue color to the test center.
- Candidates should not carry any electronic gadget such as a mobile phone inside the exam center.
- Candidates should not carry any textual material inside the exam center.
HPTET Results 2022
The HPTET 2022 results will be announced in July 2022 for the June term exam while the November session will be announced in December 2022. The results will be declared by the exam conducting authority i.e. HPBOSE at its official website. Students can check their results through the official website only; all they have to do is enter their Application or Roll Number and check their results.
