• Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Age Limit

• Candidates must have attained the age of 14 years. However, for the Driver-cum-Mechanic Trade (Light Motor Vehicle), the minimum age limit is 18 years. There is no upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

• Must have passed class 10th or 12th examination with Science and Mathematics as mandatory subjects from a recognized board.

Himachal ITI application forms will be accepted only through the online mode. The application process can be completed in three steps viz. - registration, form filling, and application payment.

Registration

• Visit the official website at https://www.hptechboard.com/.
• Click on the online admission link and then on the Himachal ITI admission 2022 link.
• Enter all the basic details viz. Name, email Id, mobile number, password, etc. to complete the registration process.
• On successful registration, you will receive an application number. This along with the password will be your login credentials for future communications. Keep it safe.

Form Filling

• After registration, log in using the application number and password.
• The application form will appear on the screen. Start filling in the details related to education qualification, address, etc.

HP ITI Admission 2022 - Merit List/ Seat Allotment

The officials will release the Himachal ITI merit list via online mode. The merit list will be released after every round of counselling. Those whose names will appear on the merit list can participate in that particular counselling round. Separate merit lists will be released for those applying after class X and class XII. The merit list is prepared based on the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam. CGPA score will be multiplied by 9.5 to prepare the merit list.

Himachal ITI Admission 2022 - Counselling/ Seat Allotment

After the release of the merit list, candidates are required to appear for the counselling process. The counselling process is conducted in multiple rounds. Seat allotment will be done based on the merit rank of the candidates. After the conclusion of the final round of counselling, spot round counselling is conducted for the remaining vacant seats. The counselling/ seat allotment process will be online. After seat allotment, candidates are required to report at the allotted college for document verification and other admission formalities.
