Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has released the recruitment notification for a total of 233 vacancies to be filled through Direct Recruitment Basis. The recruitment is being done for different posts viz. Technical Officer, Food Analyst, Assistant Manager, Central Food Safety Officer, Personal Assistant, Hindi Translator, Junior Assistant Grade-I. The application process is over and the online exam dates are announced by the exam conducting authority. Pattern for the CBT Stages

General Intelligence: Analogies, Arithmetical number series, Space visualization, Similarities and Differences, Relationship concepts, Problem-solving, Analysis, Verbal and figure classification, Visual memory, Decision making, Judgment, Arithmetical reasoning, Discriminating observations, Non-verbal series

General Awareness: Economic scene, History, Geography, Culture, General Polity including Indian Constitution, Sports and scientific research, Current Affairs

English Language: General English, Grammar – noun, pronoun, adjectives, verbs, prepositions, conjunctions, use of ‘a’ ‘an” and ‘the’, idioms and phrases, Finding errors, Sentence improvement, Passage based questions, Direct/indirect speech, Fill in the Blanks, Para Jumbles, Miscellaneous, Word substitution, Synonyms and antonyms, Spotting errors in sentences, Spelling error.

Computer Literacy: Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) including basic commands, emails, Google Docs, commonly used social media handles (Whattsapp, FB, Twitter, etc).

FSSAI Recruitment 2022 Eligibility

Nationality

Candidate must be either:

  • a citizen of India, or
  • a subject of Nepal, or
  • a subject of Bhutan, or
  • a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in the country, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, Zambia, Zaire, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in the country.

FSSAI Recruitment 2022 Application Process

The application process for the FSSAI Recruitment 2021-22 was carried from 13th October to 12th November 2021. Interested and eligible candidates were required to apply for the recruitment only through the official website.

Steps for Filling the Application Form for FSSAI Recruitment 2021-22

  • Visit the official website at https://fssai.gov.in/.
  • Scroll down and look for the ‘Jobs@FSSAI (Careers)’ option at the bottom.
  • Search for the job post and click on the ‘Apply Online’
  • Complete the registration process by providing the basic details.
  • Now, log in using your email ID and password.
  • Complete the remaining application form.
  • Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature in the required format.
  • Pay the application fee and ‘Submit’ the form.
  • Download the confirmation page and save it for future reference.

FSSAI Recruitment 2021-22 Admit Card

  • FSSAI will release the admit cards for the CBT-1 in March 2022.
  • Those who have successfully applied for the exam can download the admit card using their login credentials.
  • Admit card is a mandatory document for appearing in the exam.
  • Carry it along with a valid ID proof to the exam center.

FSSAI Recruitment Result 2021-22

  • The result for CBTs for the FSSAI recruitment 2021-22 will be released on the official website.
  • The final result/ merit list will be prepared based on the different stages of the selection process.
    For those where interviews will be taken, the final result will be announced after the interview.
