Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral (M.Phil or Ph.D) courses offered by the University of Delhi. Admission to UG level courses offered by the University is either merit-based (based on marks secured in class XII board) or entrance-based (through DUET + marks in class XII). For merit-based admission, candidates are required to register through the university portal. And, for entrance-based admission, registration is done through NTA DUET official website. DUET 2022 Pattern & Syllabus

The exam pattern for UG, PG, and Doctoral courses is mentioned below. The pattern mentioned is general and the nature of questions will vary as per courses. The test examines candidates on quantitative ability, general English, reasoning and analytical ability, general awareness, communication skills, current affairs, logical reasoning. Syllabus for DUET 2022

UG Courses - The syllabus for UG courses is prescribed by the DU. Candidates can download the same from the official website.

PG Courses - Syllabus for the PG entrance test is as per the corresponding syllabus of B.Sc/ B.Com/ BA courses of the University. Candidates can get the syllabus from the respective department’s website.

M.Phil/ Ph.D Courses - Syllabus is corresponding to M.Sc/ M.Com/ MA courses of Delhi University. The same can be downloaded from the Department’s respective website.

BA (Hons) Business Economics, Bachelor in Management Studies, Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis)

Passed class 12th or equivalent with aggregate marks of 60% or more in four subjects viz. Mathematics, English, and any two other subjects.

B.Tech Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation

Passed class 12th or equivalent with aggregate marks of 60% or more in four subjects including Mathematics.

B.A (Hons.) Humanities and Social Sciences

Passed class 12th or equivalent with aggregate marks of 60% or more in four subjects

Bachelor of Elementary Education

Aggregate of 50% or more marks in the qualifying exam with minimum 50% marks in each of the ‘Best Four’ subjects.

Best Four subjects - One subject from English/ Hindi and three from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, History, Geography, Economics, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, Business Studies/ Accountancy, and anyone language.

Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Health Education & Sports

Passed class 12th with at least 45% aggregate marks in one language and three best subjects.

B.A (Honours) Multimedia and Mass Communication

Aggregate of 75% or more marks in the ‘Best Four’ subjects (including 85% in English)

Five Year Integrated Programme in Journalism {FYIPJ}

Aggregate 50% or more marks in all five subjects in the qualifying exam.

Graduate/ Postgraduate degree (any subject) from Delhi University or any other recognised University by DU with at least 60% or first division or equivalent CGPA.

MA History

DUET 2022 Application Process

Candidates can apply for the DUET 2022 exam through the University’s official portals. There are different portals for UG, PG, and Doctoral programs. Candidates must visit the respective portal and register for the entrance exam. The application forms are made available for approximately one month. The application once submitted cannot be corrected or edited; thus, it must be filled out carefully.

DUET 2022 Application Submission Process

The application process for UG, PG, and Doctoral courses is similar with few changes in documents to be uploaded, etc. Here, we have provided the general method of application submission. It will involve the following steps:

  • Registration
  • Filling the Application Form
  • Document Upload
  • Enter Educational Qualification and Exam Centre Details
  • Download the Application Form
  • Make Fee Payment and Take a Print of the Form

Registration

  • Candidates must visit the respective portal for registration.
  • Provide email ID, Mobile Number, and Password to register.

Filling the Application Form

  • After the login Id and password are created, log in and fill in details such as name, parents’ name, date of birth, address, category, nationality, and gender.
  • Check all the details carefully and click the ‘Register’ button.
  • After successful registration, a verification link will be sent to your email ID. Follow the instructions provided to complete the registration process.
  • After the registration is complete, fill out the remaining application form.

Document Upload

  • Upload the scanned images of self-attested documents in the prescribed formats as mentioned below:
    • Photograph: Recent Passport size photograph, JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format, Maximum File Size - 50 KB, Dimension - 2 inch X 2 inch
    • Signature: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG/ PDF format, Maximum File Size - 50 KB, Dimension - 1.5 inch X 2 inch
    • Photo ID Proof: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG/ PDF format, Maximum File Size - 100 KB
    • Qualifying Exam Certificate: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format, Maximum File Size - 100 KB

Enter Educational Qualification and Exam Centre Details

  • Provide educational qualification details such as board name, roll number, marks secured, year of passing, subject names, etc.

Download the Application Form

  • Click the ‘Final Preview’ button and check all the details carefully.
  • Download the application form. After this, the DU form number and QR code will be generated.

Make Fee Payment and Take a Print of the Form

  • Now, click on the ‘Click to Make Payment’ button and make the fee payment using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
  • Take a print of the filled-in DU application form.

DUET 2022 Admit Card

The DUET 2022 admit card will be made available on the official website. No, admit card will be sent by post. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination without an admit card. It is advised to check the admit card carefully for name, date of birth, gender, exam center name, city, category, etc. If any discrepancies are found in the admit card, please contact the helpline number provided on the admit card. The following documents are to be carried to the examination center on the day of examination:

  • DUET 2022 Admit Card
  • Photo ID Proof (original, non-expired, any one of - Driving License/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar Card/ Passport/ Ration Card)
  • PwD Certificate (if claiming relaxation)

DUET 2022 Answer Key

DUET 2022 answer key (provisional) will be released on the official website and will remain available for three days. Candidates will be provided with the opportunity to challenge the answer key on payment of ₹ 200 per question. The recorded responses of candidates and the question papers will also be released along with the provisional answer key. This will help the candidates in estimating their scores. The final answer key will be released after considering the objections raised by candidates.

DUET 2022 Result

DUET 2022 results will be released online at the official website. The final answer key will also be released along with the result. The result will be released as merit lists comprising the merit ranks of the candidates. Separate lists will be released for different courses. Candidates can check the result on the official portal.

DUET 2022 Admission

After the result declaration, the portal will be reopened for one day to make changes in the course/ college options. After this, the seat allotment will be done based on the merit ranks. The document verification process will be carried out online for the uploaded documents. Once the verification is done and the admission is approved, the applicants will receive a link on their Dashboard for submitting the course fee. The fee will be accepted only through the online mode via the portal. After this, the candidates must report at the allotted college with all the documents in original for physical document verification and other admission formalities.
