Question Type - Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)
Exam Duration - The exam will be of 3 hours duration.
Negative marking - Applicable. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

CUSAT CAT 2023 Eligibility
Candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility conditions to avoid the cancellation of candidature at any stage.
Age Limit
There is no specific age limit for the entrance exam.
Educational Qualification
B.Tech in Marine Engineering
- Must have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks in class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects from Kerala Board or any other recognized board.
- Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in the qualifying exam.
- Obtained minimum 50% marks in English in class 10th or 12th.
- Candidates need to submit a physical fitness and eye fitness certificate, which must be obtained from Medical Examiners and approved by DG Shipping.
B.Tech in Naval Architecture and Ship Building
- Must have scored 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12th or equivalent exam from Kerala Board or other recognized board.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with other subjects.
- Must have scored 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics when taken together.
- Must have obtained 50% in Mathematics.
B.Tech in Instrumentation and Technology
- Must have obtained 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, taken together.
- Obtained 55% in Mathematics.
B.Tech in Polymer Science and Engineering
- Passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
- Secured 50% in Mathematics.

CUSAT 2023 Application Process
- Visit the official website at https://admissions.cusat.ac.in and click on the new registration link.
- Enter the details and submit the same. An activation link will be sent to your email ID. Click the link to activate your account.
- Now, log in using your credentials and fill out the application form. Proceed to the document upload process.
- Upload the scanned image of the photograph and signature.
- Select the course you have opted for.
- Make the fee payment as per the category you belong to.
- Select the exam centers.
- Have a final preview of the application form and check if all information is correct.
- Submit the application form, the confirmation page will appear on the screen and take a print of the same.

CUSAT 2023 Admit Card
The CUSAT CAT 2023 admit card will be released online on 18th April to 1st May 2023. Candidates can download the same using the username and password. Check all the details in the admit card and report any discrepancies to the exam conducting authority. Download the admit card and take a clear printout. It is a mandatory document that needs to be carried to the examination hall.
CUSAT CAT 2023 Result
CUSAT CAT 2023 result will be announced online on the official website. Candidates can log in using their credentials and their result. The result will contain details including the score obtained and the rank of the candidate. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling process.
CUSAT 2023 Counselling
CUSAT 2023 counselling will be conducted for those whose names are mentioned in the rank list. Such candidates are first required to register for the counselling process online and fill in their choices of courses and colleges. Based on this information, seat allotment will be done.
